Perfect Tool Kit for My 2013 BMW 1200GS
I recently purchased the CruzTOOLS RTB1 RoadTech B1 tool kit for my 2013 BMW 1200GS, and I couldnโt be happier with it! This compact kit is a game-changer for on-the-road maintenance and emergencies. It includes all the essential tools I need for my GS, from metric wrenches to Torx bits, perfectly suited for BMWโs specific fasteners. The quality is outstandingโdurable tools that feel solid in hand and a rugged carrying case. Iโve used it for roadside adjustments and minor repairs, and itโs saved me more than once on long rides. Highly recommend this kit to any 1200GS owner looking for a reliable, portable tool solutio

A kit for the caboodle - and the hope I won't need them
The tool roll I obtained from Amazon is different than most CruzTOOLS RTB1 kits that I see advertised - it lacks the flashlight and the small tube of WD40, and in fact has no space for them. Admittedly, it was also seriously less $$ than the retail list price, and I don't really feel the lack of these items, as I already carry a flashlight and headlamp. In fact, I did not even notice this difference until I was cataloging what I had and what I might need. The kit itself is a good complement for the minimal tool kit on the bike, duplicating some items (screwdrivers, hex keys) but adding more things that would be useful in the event of a roadside emergency. The tools are solid and look to be high quality, with a lifetime warranty. The adjustable wrench and vise grips work smoothly and feel solid, as does the screwdriver with interchangeable bits (much, much better feel than the wimpy one in the stock kit). The 1/4" drive is also a high quality piece, but seems a bit small, and the short handle may not provide much torque for a stuck bolt. I'll have to use it before I pass judgement on it. My wife thinks it is cute. For my Beemer, I don't really need the Torx wrenches or star wrench (not useful until I get a bike made in this decade), so I'll replace them with things I do want to carry. The kit is reasonably complete, and with the stock tool kit and stock tire repair kit, I should be able to handle most roadside fixes. I'll probably add a few things, like additional zip ties in other sizes, some duct tape, a 7mm hex key, some additional 1/4" sockets, a 3" socket extension, and some razor blades, for example, and I'll carry a multitool as well for additional flexibility. I also carry a small air compressor, jumper cables, tiedowns, and a short list of spares. Now that I have this kit, I will use it to do my routine maintenance, too (maybe this weekend). It always helps to practice using the tools you might have to in a pinch. I just don't know if I'll try doing it in the dark with a flashlight.... See you out riding the roads.

great kit
I've used this kit a dozen times since buying it. it has almost everything you need for a gs. a 17mm anything would be nice though. you get nothing for the rear lug bolts.

Great choices for a BMW kit
This is a great kit for BMW bikes, it has most every size you would want/need. Even star keys and a reverse star box wrench with two sizes. The 4-in-1 screwdriver is good quality. I'd feel a little safer if there was another flap at the bottom of the roll, it seems like if some of the elastic starts to wear out you could start to have some things drop out the bottom of the roll. If there was a bottom flap it wouldn't matter. The star keys (especially the smaller ones) can pretty much slide right out of the elastic, and the electrical tape roll will get smaller as you use it up, so it might not fit the elastic anymore. The ratchet is OK and has the important socket sizes but you're not going to get much leverage with that handle, better use one of the wrenches if you can.

Insurance
You've got to have it, and it comes in more ways than just the little slip of paper that you carry with you, or that card in your wallet. Being prepared is important insurance that will help you sleep at night and that will help you get through the situation, be it a challenge or a dream. The tools in this kit seem well made. They are organized and roll up nicely. They fit well in the pannier, don't weigh much and don't take up much space.
