Take your time, make sure the bike is dry .
I own a Project one Madone. This works perfectly. It does not smear, spot or deform the paint at all. I read a review where the customer contacted Trek and they did not recommend it. All I can say from experience is that it does not affect the paint at all. It works as described and keeps your bike from getting road tar and dirt stuck to the down tube and underside of the bike. Will keep using this as it works.

Great Ceramic Protection Kit. Comes with incredible bike towels.
Great Ceramic Protection Kit. Comes with incredible bike towels, a thumb applicator, cleaner and the coating. Everything works beautifully together and leaves no streaks or evidence of install. Other than water beading off everything. I got a brand new Dogma F with Campagnolo groupset and wheels - and covered it with this kit before I rode it, then waited a week. I have put 1000 miles of road on it. Not so much as a surface scratch or water stain, ever. Great product.

If you like a clean bike
After applying this during the end of winter when I was doing maintenance on my bike, it's been easy to keep the bike clean for past few months I've ridden the bike. My route doesn't consist of too much muddy dirt road but it does have some bad parts. My route consists of paved , dirt and some sand and a large park With just a small bit it has helped a lot with cleaning the bike. The mud and dirt comes off a lot easier with a medium shower spray compared to before the application. I applied mainly with the micro fiber it came with and long stroked the frame where it allowed. I'm not sure if I over applied or not but I applied more on the microfiber when I thought I needed more. But I have a good amount left, less than half of the bottle. I have to say I didn't do the whole bike frame as this year I was a bit lazy and didn't remove the the pedals, pedal arms, and the sprockets. The areas I didn't apply the coating was noticeably different in that after rinsing off the bike, you have beading of water droplets vs was not beading at all. Over all a good experience with ceramic coating. Leaves a good shine and helps a lot with keeping the bike clean. It also should help protect the surface from chipping from foreign debris. This should last a while depending on how often you clean and wipe down the bike. If this can last at least a year, which I think I still have plenty enough, I suppose for the pricing it's a good investment. Anytime over that, is a great investment.

Seal was cut
When the box arrived the seal was cut and the box had been obviously been opened since the contents were not in their original positions. Nothing was missing from the box.

Very impressed so far
I applied my first application last week and have done a few outdoor rides and true to description, it beads extremely well, even better than a wax, and despite going through several wet areas, my bike had minimal evidence that I touched water on the ride. Will see how long this lasts, but impressed so far.

A true ceramic coating, 9H hardness, protects finish, makes washing easier
Update Sept. 5, 2023: Summer's nearly over and my washing my ebikes is as easy as it was after I first ceramic coated them. Light dirt washes off with the hose. The rest easily comes off with a micro fiber washing mit. Water still beads up and runs off. Still loving this product. It comes in a high quality box with everything you need, frame prep to get the last bits of dirt off, gloves, microfiber cloths, applicator, and 15ml of Bike Ceramic. They don’t say how much SiO2 is in the ceramic but given the companies reputation, I expect it to be high enough to provide the advertised protection of up to 2 years. The directions are simple and on the back of the box. Ceramic coatings can be difficult to apply but this is pretty simple. Wipe a clean bike with Frame Prep, then apple a SMALL amount of Bike Ceramic to the applicator pad and apply. Work in small sections. Wipe of excess with microfiber cloth after 1 to 2 minutes. Done. Based on my research, a little goes a long way. I have 2 almost new Dutch made e-bikes and just finished both of them. The 15ml was just enough for both bikes. I tried not to skimp on the application and even had a very little left. I had my car ceramic coated when new at it looks awesome, even 2 years later so I have every reason to expect the same from this product. I’ve added a video which shows both applying the Frame Prep and then the Bike Ceramic (sped up). The Frame Prep took 30 minutes, and the Bike Ceramic took 50 minutes. I need to wait a week to let the finish harden. I’ll then do a quick video to see how well it repels water. So far I’m impressed with the product, but time will provide the ultimate test. Gtechniq is a reputable company, and I highly recommend this product.

Matte paint application
Since I'm in charge of cleaning and maintaining the mountain bikes in my family, I thought I would give Ceramic coating a shot and see if it truly does what it claims. I'm here to say that I don't actually know the answer to that question... yet. What I am here to say is that I've applied the ceramic coating to two bikes, both with matte paint, and wanted to share that yes, it does change the appearance of matte paint but not so much so that the paint is no longer considered "matte". The overall appearance of the bike is still matte, but there's a bit of a sheen that wasn't previously present. Both bikes are currently in need of a wash and as soon as I get around to washing them, I'll be able to provide some feedback on how well the ceramic coating did its job. For reference, the photo of the bike by the lake was taken before the ceramic application, the other photos show the bike after the ceramic application. I know neither of the photos clearly shows the difference but you can see in both photos that the paint is still "matte" As far as the application goes, it's a process and takes time. It's like polishing/waxing a car - there are a couple of steps and you need to be careful, thorough, and diligent to get the best results.
