A simple rinse off and you're done. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and sometimes a lot of cutting and chopping makes my hands and especially my fingers cramp so much that I can't finish food preparation. This may be the best tool I've ever bought because I like to cook and this with a couple of other tools sure makes prep fast and easy. I highly recommend this product.
