Flip it around and it makes way more sense!! The Velcro strap sits underneath the closure when worn this way, and is there to cover the Velcro when not in use, so it doesn’t snag on anything. Very helpful! The flaps go on either side of the nose and the fabric lays overtop, to block out the light. You can sort of see what I’m talking about in the pictures. This is the best sleep mask I’ve ever worn, it blocks out light for the eyes because of a dark material on the inside that you can see through the mask when it’s wet, and light is also blocked through the nose part thanks to the flaps, and nose cover. Super comfortable and soft, it seems to be 100% silk, and I love the closure at the back, it doesn’t snag against anything, it’s soft and lays nice and flat so you can sleep on it no problem, I’ve worn this for a while and washed it a few times and it still feels brand new, I keep it in the little pouch when I’m not using it which is super helpful too! The only thing I would change is that it also came in black, 10/10 ⭐️ would recommend this beautiful sleepmask!

LOVE IT!!! Used it for the first time last night and slept peacefully while my hubby watched his beloved tv!!! It was very soft and comfortable. Kind of a drag that I had to wash it before I used it, so I had to wait another night, but all ended up well!!

I moved from a very dark bedroom to one that has a streetlight outside and this was disrupting my sleep very much. At first I wasn't sure if it was the light or the move stress or a combo, but after over a month of not sleeping well, I received this mask in the mail and since then I am sleeping so much better. Coincidence? Could be but I'm guessing it's this mask or at least a lot of it contributed to wearing this mask. Mine came sealed in a box. Comes with a little silk bag to use to store it in when traveling or if you wanted to store it when not in use. Super soft and silky. I washed mind on delicate, cold, but did not dry it in the dryer as that would ruin it. They want you to hand wash but I don't have time for that and I don't feel as if things are getting clean enough when hand washed. I was skeptical about the size, at first. But though it fits over most of my ears and a good portion of my small head/face, it isn't uncomfortable and I don't feel irritated by it at all. The nose part is flexible but still blocks light. So much more light is blocked than with my smaller sleep masks! The smaller ones moved around too much too and this one stays put. I didn't even have to velcro it too tight for it to stay put. The strap is adjustable so find what fits you best. I ordered mine on sale, so that was nice. I will be ordering another one but will wait to see if it goes on Prime Day deal first! So happy I ordered this LitBear sleep mask - I'm finally not so exhausted every day from disrupted sleep from too much light!

I bought this because I have sleep paralysis and someone mentioned on a reddit thread that hypothetically if you had a sleep mask on and you wake up before your body does then the mask blocks your view of the sleep paralysis demon. By blocking your vision it allows you to just fall back asleep without thinking a demon is sitting on your chest sucking out your life essence. The mask has never made me sweat. Its thick, comfortable padding, incredibly soft, stays in place all night and seems really durable. But the biggest selling point is I havent had a single sleep paralysis reoccurrence since I bought it a year ago. Iykyk.

I love my new sleep mask! It’s very comfortable and does its job. My only negative and it’s really slight…it’s a Velcro closure and is loud if you need to readjust in the night. Not a problem if you don’t have a partner sleeping next to you

I absolutely love my sleep mask it fits perfectly, pillowy soft and easy to wash. I do t get too hot in it. It’s so light I don’t notice it at all while I’m sleep. I like that there’s a little nose flap to block out the light there’s is a little bit of light that comes through from the bottom towards the nose but compared to not having it at all is a life saver. I like the design of it and how it fits over my eyes it’s actually very soothing

I loved this mask briefly. The fit isn't the greatest because there is no gentle elastic at the back. The velcro must be fit exactly to your head but if it slips down during the night, the mask becomes loose and slides. If the velcro is fit too tightly in order to try to alleviate this problem, then the eyes feel very compressed. After a lot of fiddling around, I thought I had it just right, or at least good enough. Soon after purchasing this mask, I ordered a very expensive 23 mom 6A mulberry silk pillowcase - then it happened. The bit of velcro on the mask that sticks out and faces outward on the back of the mask snagged this wonderful pillowcase the second week I had it. There was no way to cover up this bit of rough velcro since my head is large. I need to be able to roll over. I'll still use my snagged pillowcase but don't want anymore snags on it. So sadly I must return this mask. I do own the less expensive litbear silk mask. It doesn't feel like as high quality silk but it has adjustable and silk covered elastic at the back which actually keeps the mask more secure even if it slips down a bit during the night. The nose flap is comfortably padded on the cheaper mask, oddly enough. On this mask the nose flap that is to block the light has absolutely no padding so a bit of light can seep in around your nose folds since there is no padding to fill it in. I love the color of this mask. The bright blue is lovely but of course I can't see it when I sleep and no one else will see it either so I guess it doesn't matter what color I have. My thinking is that a pretty color will make it easier to notice in a hotel or on a ship so I don't accidentally leave it behind. This is really a high quality silk which is obvious to the touch, more so that my cheaper litbear mask. I'll just have to stick with my less expensive light pink mask which only has a black option. My skin seems to like it just fine, it stays in place and blocks light better, it doesn't snag anything since no velcro is involved, making it a much better value in the end. Both masks are cheaper now than they were when I bought them. I'd say you should go for the better fitting, less color options (light pink or black), lower quality silk mask. Once adjusted, it never needs adjusting again, unlike this one which seems to need constant adjustment and washes and air dries better if it's not connected at the back.

I wanted to use this for a few months before giving a review. I always need a sleep mask when I travel - because you never know if they provide a good black out covering curtain. Well this mask has been comfortable, soft, and best of all- it stays on all night! I have had other sleep masks that rotate or fall off, or even wiggle off my head through the night. This one is really great, the Velcro holds excellent and you can make it more snug or loose as needed. I really like hot there is a tiny flat where it meets your nose, so no light cane come through there either. I ordered the pink one and it looks very cute and I have hand washed it without issue. Considering getting one for my hubby as he has one that is a bit too tight. Hope they have other colors!

Best of the best sleep mask. Comfortable and provides complete black out to aid in sleep. Also extremely helpful with eye puffiness and dark circles.

This is the best eye mask I have ever bought! I have probably bought at least 10 trying to find the perfect one with no luck. I initially wanted it for when I work night shift but now I use it every night and it puts me to sleep straight away and completely blocks out light (even under the nose!) and is so so soft and comfortable. You won’t regret it!
