Is this appropriate for the loss of a 3 year old?

I bought it for someone who lost their mom while pregnant. The angel represented the person’s mom with her newborn. I think it is appropriate and a nice way of showing that their loved ones are still close.

No this should not be used outside. It is a small statue that is not sealed in any way and would rapidly deteriorate when exposed to the elements

Will it come inside the original box?

I do not have the original box.

It is too heavy to be an ornament, I would say. I have mine sitting on a table. Also, it does not come with a way to hang it on a tree either.
