It's bigger than I expected but incredible
From the moment I unboxed the 14" Deluxe Non-Stick Wok, I knew my cooking game was about to level up. The sleek design and substantial size are perfect for everything from quick stir-fries to elaborate family dinners. The non-stick surface is a dream come true โ not a single morsel of food sticks, making both cooking and cleaning up a breeze. The even heat distribution ensures that all my ingredients cook perfectly, and the depth of the wok allows for generous portions that can feed a crowd. The wokโs durability is impressive. Itโs been a staple in my kitchen for months now, and it still looks as good as new, with no scratches or wear. The comfortable handle provides a secure grip, making it easy to maneuver, even when full. Whether Iโm searing, sautรฉing, or simmering, this wok handles it all with ease. Itโs truly a versatile tool that has earned its place at the heart of my kitchen. For anyone looking to invest in a high-quality wok, this is the one. Itโs an absolute must-have for any home chef who values quality, functionality, and style. If youโre on the fence about getting this wok, donโt be. Itโs a game-changer. The 14" Deluxe Non-Stick Wok gets a well-deserved five stars from me, and I canโt recommend it highly enough.

Excellent wok
Very pleased with this pan. I used it on an induction stove to cook every thing from breakfast, soups, spaghetti, stir fry, etc. Be aware to follow the included instructions to not damage this pan and never use metal utensils on it. The bottom surface contact is large, induction is excellent and even, handle is comfortable, sides are high to help reduce oil splatter, pans shape makes flipping and tossing the food easy, and it's not to heavy considering the pan's thickness. The ceramic surface is very slick and food slides around easily. After letting the pan cool off, a simple rinse with water and a wipe with a towel is enough. Unlike my carbon steel wok and other steel cookware, this is a ceramic coated pan that can be damage with excessive heat or acute transitions in temperature. It can also be scratched and chipped by by contact with metal. This pan is so easy to cook with. The only minus is that I have to baby it a bit like any nonstick and can't be to rough with it. Been using it quite a bit by now before writing this review and there is zero damage to the pan, can't even see a micro scratch on the surface. I'm hoping this ceramic coating holds up better than teflon that always seems to wear out.

Non-sticky and healthy way of cooking
Update on March 27, 2013: ================================================================================================================================== My wife and I cook with it almost daily. This wok continues to work perfectly. And the non-stick continue to work. I use "Scotch-Brite Dobie All Purpose Cleaning Pad" to clean this wok. No scratches and gum (which causes the non-stick to fail) can be cleaned off. Original on January 23, 2013: ================================================================================================================================== Normally we buy those el-cheapo pans/woks with Teflon coating ($10-$20). We replace them when they either deform or start to stick. Reading many article about the harmfulness of Teflon coating, it starts to get into my thick skull that we should be avoiding this stuff. Then we come across this 12" Ozeri Pan. I bought two of them. One for our own use and the other one for my mother-in-law. Here is what I feel about the product. Pros: 1. The ceramic coating on this wok is high quality (and non-toxic as company advertized) 2. The material used on this wok seems to be high quality. You can see even the handle is well made 3. I love the design. And the green color is nice 4. The extra thickness on the bottom helps cooking food with even temperature. But the overall weight of this wok is not too heavy. 5. Washing it after cooking is easy...even one day after cooking (lazy me) 6. You can buy a lid from Ozeri. But if you have your own 12" lid, it will fit on this wok Cons: Potentially deadly if your spouse use it to smack your head...(just kidding!) There are really no cons. I just wish Ozeri can make 8" version of this wok I will try to post follow up reviews after a few months /or years of use.

Defective with small speck (received replacement in 2 days)
Disappointed to receive this with a ding inside the pan. Not sure really if this is a ding. There was no damage on shipping package so probably defective from the manufacturer. This small speck will lessen the life of the pan so I requested a replacement. I will update review once I receive a good replacement. Review update 5/22/18: I received the replacement in 2 days and my wife have been using it ever since. She likes it coz it's light to use but the short handle gets hot so she needs to use a pot holder when holding it. I gave 4 stars because of this minor issue. Hopefully the updated version will have a heat resistant silicone or something similar like the long handle where it doesn't get hot. But other than that, this is a very good wok and you will not regret buying this. Highly recommended! Now I need to find a glass or stainless lid to match this! :-)

The best pan for a low-fat diet!
Wow! I'm very impressed with this product. Our family has been low-fat plant-based (thanks to The Engine 2 Diet: The Texas Firefighter's 28-Day Save-Your-Life Plan that Lowers Cholesterol and Burns Away the Pounds ) for a couple of months now, so we are trying to do all our cooking with a tiny bit of spray oil or even no added oil at all. Before we got this pan, I had to add vegetable broth or water to my stainless and cast iron pans to keep the food from sticking, which is fine for onions, but not so great when you want to brown potatoes. Now that we have the Ozeri Wok, which is huge, by the way, and fits perfectly on the larger coils on our electric range, I have cooked hash browns from grated raw Yukon Gold potatoes using just a tiny bit of spray oil with basically no sticking. I had to stir it with the wooden spoon to keep the starch from forming a layer on the bottom, but it was so much easier and less messy than our old cast iron pan. And next time I will remember to rinse the grated potatoes. Speaking of cast iron, I've been reading Dr. Barnard's excellent book, Power Foods for the Brain: An Effective 3-Step Plan to Protect Your Mind and Strengthen Your Memory where he references research implicating excess iron (as well as other metals) affecting cognition, so our family will be ditching the cast iron skillets in favor of these Ozeri pans, as well. I was never a fan of Teflon. Teflon-coated pans frequently felt light and cheap and they seemed to get scratched up within the first year of use, even if you were careful. This Ozeri wok isn't Teflon and doesn't have that Teflon-chintzy feel at all. It feels more like Grandma's old French heavy pots that have the thick glaze coating. Seriously, this Ozeri wok is beautiful to look at and pleasantly smooth to the touch, not to mention super easy to clean, because you use so much less oil. The only problem is that makes all of our other cookware look dated and inferior. I guess we'll end up keeping the stainless and replacing the cast iron with Ozeri products. Thanks for reading my first review!

One of the best pieces of kitchen equipment!
This product has to be one of the best things I've ever bought for my kitchen. I've had it for over a year now and it looks like the day I bought it. It's great, not just for stir fry but, for all sorts of one pot meals. The double handle situation is very useful. It's nicely balanced, heats quickly and evenly and is flawlessly non-stick. Without the concerns of using Teflon pans. I have purchased many of the cheaper, lower quality woks or sautee pans and have been disappointed every time. When the non-stick starts peeling, it warps, the handle gets too hot or starts falling off... This pan has been absolutely marvelous! I can do all my cooking in one pan and wipe it clean when I'm done! Couple notes: I NEVER use metal utensils in it and it is definitely heavier than a restaurant style, metal wok.

Nice pan that stays on my stovetop
***Update*** Dropping the review rating. 2 months and this pan started turned to a non stick pan. I tried cleaning with vinegar, boiling water, boiling vinegar and the sticking did not go away. Nice pan while works. **** I now have the Ozeri Wok, 10 inch, and 8 inch frying pans I purchased the wok pan and the 12 inch glass lid. This pan stays on my stovetop most the time and I rarely use my other pots now, including 10 and 8 inch Ozeri frying pans. Food doesn't stick much, about the same as a good teflon pan anyways. Easy to clean. I use way less oil now. I cook with coconut oil which has shown no problems. Sometimes I don't cook with oil depending on the food. I've cooked eggs with no oil, but they don't cook through as well without oil I noticed, this is regardless of the various non stick coating types I've tried including teflon. There is some minor sticking when cooking eggs with no oil, but still comes off with minor scrubbing. The size of this pan works great for stir frying, cooking chili, boiling pasta, etc, very versatile size. Get the lid and you won't use many other pots and pans. When I am done I just wash the pan when it cools and put back on my stovetop ready to go.

Awesome performance, and I mean it
This is my wifeโs favorite pan for frying and sautรฉing. The no PFOA/PFA ceramic truly is the best non-stick alternative to cancer-causing Teflon. I even fry eggs without any oil (just know this only works by heating the eggs low and slow, takes a few tries to get it right). We use this pan every day and surface is still like new (just donโt use metal spatulas, bamboo is best). Cleaning is simple after soaking in warm soapy water for 5-10 mins.

It's massive, it's manageable, it's pretty
This is a great wok. In every sense of the word. Pros: Huge! Can easily make food for 10 people. If this is what you want, it's perfect. Pretty - looks classy hanging on the kitchen wall. Quality made - this is well made stuff, and for the quality, isn't too heavy. Easy to clean - it won't fit in any dishwasher, but is so non-stick, it's super easy to wash by hand in seconds. Comes with a felt inlay for stacking other pots inside it. Cons: Huge! You will need a double burner on a gas stove to get enough heat into it for cooking. Seriously, huge! There is no way it would fit in any of our single-size cupboards, so we had to fit a wall hook for storage. Hot handle - the main handle stays cool during use, but the second handle next to the bowl area gets very hot indeed, and if you're filling this wok, you will need to use that handle at some point, so be prepared. I love this wok, it's great value for money.

Piece of junk! Don't buy it!
Definitely zero star! After one month of use, it becomes sticky to anything you cook on it and totally unusable. What's worse, I just miss the one month return window!

Fabulous Wok
LOVE LOVE LOVE this wok! It is an absolute joy to use and to clean. The ceramic provides even heating and heats up very quickly, which helps in the quick preparation of stir fries. It also provides a lovely chemical-free non-stick surface that just makes cooking and cleaning so much easier. Everything in it just wipes off with ease. I would even say that it is easier to clean that a typical metal non-stick pan. I noticed that some people have complained about the ceramic scratching or breaking. I can tell you that I have never experienced this, and I use this wok and my regular non-stick pan from Ozeri multiple times a week. Obviously with ceramic, like with metal, you should not be using metal spatulas or cooking pieces. I use silicone and it has been great, no scratching or marks. Obviously like with other pans, you should exercise caution when stacking them with other pans as that can scratch them as well. I personally don't stack any of my pans, and as a result none of them have ever gotten scratched. So if you don't want to damage your ceramic, it's easy: use only silicone or wood tools, don't stack other pans inside of them, don't clean it with steel wool (which is total overkill anyway given how easy it is to wipe clean), and exercise caution when moving them around (i.e. don't drop them...). This wok even comes with a little storage cover that you place inside to protect the ceramic should you choose to stack it. So really there's no excuse for scratching up your pan...
