Good quality aluminum construction. Directions aren't much help but if your mechanically inclined it is an easy installation. Just make sure you test fit everything before you stick it.. I had to cut some off the width for it to fit in my doorway.. I did not install this in a camper. I installed it in my house where space is very limited and this door was the perfect solution. I would recommend this door.

I had an original 3 panel glass shower door that has been a pain to keep on the tracks. the track, stops and wheels were all plastic. This door was so easy to install IF the directions were followed regarding the steps for the installation. The frame is aluminum and the door is some type of plastic on a roller. The 3ft wide frame fit perfectly in the opening. Because the side vertical frame pieces have foam tape, correct order of installation is critical. Once the paper is peeled off the foam strip and attached to the wall it is very difficult to remove. I learned from experience. Also required is a strip of silicone sealant along the bottom rail from the inside to prevent leaking under the frame. Instructions did not state this. The door looks great and I actually have more room inside the shower because its one panel instead of the 3 stacking panels I had before. No additional curtains are required on the outside because a person can't be seen in the shower, only a dark fuzzy figure.

Update: The shower door replacement has been installed now for over a month and I've been traveling with it and showering every day. I can reiterate that it is working perfectly now that I'm on the road and using it. It's really a game-changer for having eliminated the weight, breaking risk, and non-functionality of the glass doors that were jumping off their tracks. An unexpected bonus is that the retractable shower door turns the shower into a more enclosed space which keeps the warm air in especially in cold weather. I used to sort of dread taking a daily shower in my rig, having to negotiate the finicky glass doors, but I look forward to shower time with the new retractable. Thank you! Original Review: I just finished installing this. It's true that the instructions are not great, but watch a few YouTube videos before installing. A few things I learned: You can use a plastic scraper and WD-40 to remove the old silicone caulk in your shower insert. I used clear GE silicone caulk when I put the new frame in. I squirted some caulk under the retractable base to hold it in place and also seal it from leaking. Before adhering the other side where the door hooks in, BE SURE TO MEASURE AND CUT THE BOTTOM RAIL. You'll want to insert this rail into the other vertical piece before attaching it with sticky tape to the far side of your shower opening. After that the top rail fits in easily. While most of the videos said, "This will take an hour and a half", I'm so slow and paranoid of messing up that it took me a few days of doing a small step, then thinking through the next step, etc. I just needed to take my time. I will be road testing it tomorrow as soon as the caulk dries.

Did not come with install instructions! Just got mine installed, now I have to remove it and reinstall cause I put it backwards!! Lousy instructions!!! Would not recommend this product until they supply better instructions!!!

This would be a 5 if had better instructions, they are useless. When putting up upper rods my husband measured so many times but still got them too short. Good news I emailed Recpro and got new ones for about$50. Came in 3 days. It’s now up, probably looks better than it functions. It’s a bit hard to close. I was really wanting something in case we used shower. We rarely use, as I am happy using campgrounds. We did add 2 screws to each side which should been on instructions and pre drilled

This is a great solution for my RV shower. Easy installation, looks great!!! So much better than that pesky shower curtain. Would highly recommend this item. It’s light weight, which is great for not adding extra weight to your RV.Great quality & price.

I've been using it a couple weeks now with no leaks! It's easy enough to install, except you need 4 hands at times but one person can do it. After my test fit, I taped it together to peel and stick the sides. My particular door is 32 inches. No issues cutting it to fit (measure, measure, measure).
