Mine came a little scratched, but theyre made of thick matte plastic. They are quality, I just have to use the one side on all of them. No biggy

Using for infrared photography and works well for camera white balance. Nice size for outdoor usage. Durable plastic. I wish it would come in a protected sleeve to keep cards clean but I did find a sleeve in the house I can use.

So part of the issues is really I did not read the size. That said the rating is more due to what I once had being a rigid plastic set of white balance cards no longer available sadly. So my new camera apparently can select a section of the card and set the white balance. I primarily run the black or grey card for contrast. Images from the air museum in a dark area with spot lots produced super good images. The hydro plane races also came out really well. If your camera can select a small spot on the card you are golden. I was running a lens initially for the boat races near 1000mm which cards were really a blur. My ribbed post card plastic white balance cards in direct light are superior but lost them. Drawback they had was size which your typical cards solve. The one star ding I would put here is lacking the ribbed feature to disperse light across the cards evenly and not being a hard plastic. Otherwise not sure they are superior to like cards you see all over Amazon. So if the price is right these will work.

I mean, they are gray cards. They do the job. what I like is they come with a red ribbon, so I can quickly spot them while on shoots.

I wanted white balance cards after learning more about custom white balance via YouTube. I have a canon rebel t5i and it seems to work okay, although I definitely need more practice to understand what I am doing. Yes the cards are small but they don’t really need to be huge; the camera lens is able to effectively capture the whole card. Don’t forget to turn off your auto-focus!
