Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat 14ml Professional Refill Kit

This product is excellent for drying wet polish in record time, but also provides a clear glossy topcoat to protect the nails. Remember to cap the free edge. Only apply 1 coat of this product to avoid shrinkage. Best applied when the nail polish is still slightly wet. This large refill bottle is very good balue as it will last you for ages.

I've been a loyal glisten and glow top coat girl for a long time but after seeing so many positive reviews on various sub reddits for this product, plus the fact it comes with a top up bottle saving a huge amount of money for me I decided to give it a go, what I learnt from others plus my own trials. 1) This top coat works differently and needs to be put on wet nails immediately, however it actually goes on better when the polish has had the chance to dry a minute or two (I used OPI polish for my test) It's touch dry within minutes and all layers are dry within five minutes, blooming amazing! 2) It mentioned using a bead of it to add the top coat, I found using two very thin coats within a couple of minutes works far better. 3) If you put a large bead on fresh nails, the outershell will still dry but the lower layers still have chance to move around and will cause large blobs on the end of the nail as well as pitting on the surface. 4) Wrap the tip.....but only the base coat and the top coat. Always use a base coat, sorry this can't be used as one, and wrap the tip of the nail, then paint your nails with polish but don't wrap with it, then paint on the top coat wrapping the tip. This will stop the shrinkage that others have reported. 5) This stuff has staying power, make sure you don't flood the cuticles or paint on your skin, if you do use a cotton bud or even better a tiny brush, use nail polish remover to carefully clean up any mishaps. This will make your nail last and have real staying power. 6) Use a hand cream or nail oil and mosturise your cuticles as many times a day as possible. A hydrated nail bed will stop your nails flaking and peeling. 7) Use gloves! Washing up, cleaning up, cleaning the dog? Use gloves, the only time water hits your hand is when taking a shower and washing your hands after using the toilet. You deserve nice nails! I've stopped having gel manicures (for many reasons!!) but really missed the shine and longevity of a gel manicure. Seche Vite top coat not only makes my nails look insanely shiny, but it also helps them dry SO quickly. With normal polish I usually end up with a finish that doesn't look sleek, smooth or shiny. But Seche Vite makes my nails look flawless. It's super easy to apply, I use quite a thick coat to really seal in the polish and it's never let me down.

First the positives. It's VERY quick drying and very shiny. I am also a strange person that likes the smell of chemicals so I love the smell. I doubt most people would though. For the negatives. It lifts your polish up. If you wear it as a base coat I bet it would be an incredible peel base. I have also noticed with light colours like white that it discoloured the polish on my nails after a few days. Not majorly but enough to notice if you really look.

Dries fast, and this is a great value for the money, so much cheaper than buying small bottles.

I've been using this great top coat for years , you need to apply it while the final colour coat is still tacky and don't drag it, place a bead of top coat in centre of nail and lightly move it round the nail, making sure you cover the free edge and sides of nail. Gives a lovely shine. Would highly recommend.

I love Seche Vite top coat, recently ran out my last bottle, tried another option, with beyond lousy results, & went right back to Seche Vite! I do my own natural nails & painting them seems to help keep them strong & have less breakage. I watched a few youtube videos about a year back, in which the nails were finished with a coat of Seche Vite, which I hadn't heard of before. I was impressed by the results & how fast the top coat dried, so I tried out a bottle & now I realize, there really is quite a difference in top coat quality & how it can make or break a good nail look. It worked just as demonstrated, with beautiful results, I've had people asking where I get my nails done because of how even & glossy they look, plus, this stuff dries so fast! It sets in just a few minutes & I can, & have had to, take a shower about an hour after using it. My nails look just fine after! I usually paint my nails in the evening, & when I use this top coat my nails aren't messed up at all from the bedsheets or from me moving around. They stay nice & shiny for days & keep the color well protected, with just slight wear at the tips, until I take it off to repaint them, usually once or twice a week. If I paint another color over the old & top it with another layer of Seche, I can usually just peel off most of the nail polish, in one satisfying peel, without even having to use nail polish remover, when I decide to redo my nails the third time (about 3 to 5 days later). That includes the base coat of polish I always use too. I recently ran out & used a bottle of a different brand of quick dry top coat instead, yikes! What a mess. My nail color, black that time, looked only slightly shiny & very streaky & the top coat felt like it never quite dried, even after a few days. The nail color ended up dented, scraped & scratched, plus the tips chipped within a few days too, so I just took it all off & gave my natural nails a break for a few days until my new order of Seche arrived. I painted my nails, as usual, finishing with Seche, & yes indeed, they looked gorgeous again. What a difference! This time I ordered the refill kit, so I won't run out again, at least not for a while! I do also have the Seshe Restore, which helps thin out the Seche Vite if it gets too thick to use (since it is quick drying), & it can also be used to thin out regular nail polish as well & a little goes a long way. I highly suggest it, if you get Such Vite.

Even if you do a so-so job on the polish, this top coat makes everything look clean and ‘polished’. It’s thin, dries easily, and leaves a shiny, tough coat that looks as good on Day 7 as on Day 1. Perfect and fast for amateurs like me. Definitely recommend!
