[...] I can assure you will make me happy and my review helpful. This I bought for an outside socket I have fitted. I have placed it along side the socket (inside as it is not IP protected). I have installed it solely for the purpose of being able to time the outside light around the garden and water feature. With the larger did for manually setting the times on / off and the centre clock is great for adjusting the actual current time to a fine adjustment, so you get he time 100% right and easily too. I know the original purpose is for an emersion heater but this works well in my situation and is sunken into the wall so to not be knocked. It also have a cover for added protection form knocks and little fingers too. This is easily removed and refitted via a simple click on / off. Fitting I would recommend a qualified electrician as electricity is a killer.

Even when mounted on 55mm deep x 90mm x 120mm die cast box as a fireproof mounting it's difficult to form 6 x 2.5 mm sq. flex conductors (for 3kw immersion heater) to the 3 input and 3 output terminals, tip. fit ring crimps on first. also separating front plate from the back box requires the grip of alligator, the first time I opened it up I felt something would break. Relieved when it didn't and had forced everything back together, just. Working well tho' and the mechanical simplicity when setting ON / OFF is good with the aid of small pointy stick. Saving around 3kwh a day now so worth the effort.

Bearing in mind that is supposed to support up to 3600 Kw, the item was of extremely poor quality, cheap plastic, defective and potentially very dangerous. I had it tested by a professional electrician who told me to just to throw it in the bin, as it was a waste of money. He said that he would not even use it for a light bulb, let alone an immersion heater. It didn't help the company failed initially to respond to emails and when they did, they were less than helpful and very rude. Thankfully, Amazon stepped in and refunded me through their A-Z guarantee. Recommendation: Pay a little more and buy something else from someone else.

Have not been able to fit as there appears to be no connection for the earth wires but for the money it looks very good

It dose exactly what it said it would. I have it controlling my router. Works well. The router knocks off between 2am -6am every day without issue. Installing it was simple. Very quiet when running.

Had a replacement sent after 1st unit indicator light immediately failed. Great customer service and had a replacement within 2 days no questions asked. Working fine
