The best nail clippers ever
I've tried quite a few clippers from simple cheap ones that come in Christmas crackers to Tweezerman. I'll include some comparisons here. I tried some 'Solingen' ones from Amazon - they were rubbish and I expect were fake - certainly no where near the quality of steel in my other Solingen razors, scissors and nail files. Champneys from Boots were quite sharp, and kept their sharpness for a while. Seki are way sharper and easier to use. The Champney had a lot of give in the handle which meant they didn't always cut cleanly. Tweezerman were good, but lost their edge too quickly. Like the Champney clippers, the handle also had some bounce so the cut wasn't always perfect. Conclusion: The Seki Edge are super sharp, and there is no give in the handle meaning they cut very cleanly. The attention to detail on these clippers is excellent - for example the handle is riveted into the pin meaning they don't fall apart when you squeeze them. The Champney and Tweezerman really feel like better variations on the cheap Christmas cracker clippers, the Seki Edge are very different to that - high quality finish, better blade alignment, different metals used to avoid flex. They're not cheap, but they are definitely worth the extra.

Yes, I Did Spend £16 On a Nail Clippers....
And it was worth every penny. I have thick nails. For years I used cheap clippers bought in a chemist or supermarket. I never gave them much thought. Then these were recommended to me. I almost fell over at the price but persuaded by the reviews and also my frustration at having hacked off nails from cheap clippers l bought these. They are excellent. Razor sharp and high quality. They cut very very cleanly. No more hacked-off fingernails. They leave a neat and tidy job. I am very happy with them. They were expensive but high quality and will last years. 5 stars.

Excellent
These are a superb product. I purchased these in 2020 (it's now 2025) and they are still as good as new and cut perfectly. I'm so glad I pushed the boat out to finally buy something of quality for this mundane task. Highly recommended, would buy again without hesitation.

Rust after a month of use.
They are very sharp and great for cutting nails, but rust started appearing after a month and they have been stored in a dry drawer outside of bathroom, so not sure if they are stainless steel...

Excellent Handy Nailclipper
I did some research on the internet prior to purchase and, from most accounts, this was approved as one of the best nail clippers on the market. I had never used a nail clipper before - having been a user of scissors and file. It's a small, handy nail clipper and well worth its ranking as the highest priced on the market. Easy to pop into handbag/pocket/makeup bag with the stylish "Seki" logo on the steel clip stick. Really does an excellent job - much better than scissors. I find it "seals" the nail too which seems to strengthen my very weak, easy to split, nails. The Japanese maker is the same one that manufactures Samurai swords and their attention to detail is concentrated into this handy clipper. Well worth the purchase.

Very good quality but perhaps a bit expensive
These are really good quality clippers, but also a hefty price tag to go with it. The clippers are sharp, solid and robust - in fact much more than a pair of nail clippers need to be. However, I have another pair of Seki nail clippers that I prefer - it has a clipping catcher which allows me to cut my nails anywhere and empty it after. This nail clipper has to be used above a bin... :)

Good clippers, tough strong metal, keen cutters, for normal and small nails
Solid metal will last forever and cut well, on the small side for large mens nails, would purchase the larger toe nail clipper version if i knew. Recommend buying if normal or small nails is what you want this great product for. Unlikely to be suitable size wise for toenails apart from the dinkiest toe nails.

Good clippers
Good. Nice and sharp. I have not used clippers before but found them easier to use than scissors after my wrist surgery on right hand!
