I recently purchased this audio interface as an aspiring musician and content creator and it has become an essential tool in my setup. I am using Audio Technica AT-2020 through this interface. I’m surprised with how low noise these pre-amps are. Even on high gain, I’m able to deliver noise free clear sound through my mic. Even though it’s not recommended to push any interface’s gain too far, I prefer to get a loudest possible signal without distortion. The controls on the interface are well-designed and intuitive. The separate volume control and signal indicators are helpful. Listening to playback is a joy. Paired very well with my Genelec M030 monitors. It is delivering very warm sound output. I’m not 100% sure if it’s a colored signal. But at the end of the day it is very ear pleasing. Even the headphone out is quite loud at 50% volume. One of the standout features is its loopback feature. Now I can stream any backing track on YouTube and play guitar over it while simultaneously recording the jam on my DAW. How convenient!
