I purchased these for crab legs and lobster. They work great! They cut through the shells easily.

We eat seafood probably 2-3 times a month. We love to purchase the small 4-5 oz lobster tails when they're on sale and same goes for crab legs (king crab if we find those locally) and these cut the shells so easily. Definitely recommend.

Does what it is needed to do. I purchased to cut open the cooked shell of lobster and worked very well on upper and lower parts of the shell. When I went to wash it, it comes apart easily and goes back together easily.

I love these scissors. They are very sharp. I think they would cut up a chicken too.

These scissors will go thru any crab or lobster shell. Very sturdy. Sometimes I think I will break them but NO they just keep on cutting. I highly recommend them in this beginning of the lobster season.

It may be good at cutting prawn and crab shells (which I haven't tried!) but not excellent for all types of seafood. To cut off spiny dorsal fins of a small barramundi, I had to put a lot of pressure with two hands! The blades are small and not that strong. It did the job at the end so I'm giving it a 4 star.
