Perfect set of family tree book pages
EXACTLY what I was looking for. Perfect to organise my family information and pop into a folder/binder. Better than a book as you can reorganise, add in photos etc. Amazing product.

Allows user to add as much detail as possible
As well as providing formatted charts for paternal and maternal ancestry there are forms on which one can record all sorts of other things such as individual records, family census records, source records and photographs. All the forms can be photocopied if more are needed. It allows one to make a family history book. It does have some limitations though these are probably common to many such ancestry packs available. It wasn't what I was looking for but that was probably my fault. If you want to go beyond your direct ancestors and include all the descendants of, say, your great great grandparents this is not for you, but it is very good training in how to record detail that is easy to forget and in the use of source materials.

I decided to buy this set of loose-leaf pages rather than an actual bound book and i'm glad i did as
I'm a newcomer to researching family history and i was surprised at how difficult it is for family historians not to get in a muddle. Unless you are somebody who likes using digital family trees i think you need to buy one of the books on sale nowadays designed to guide you into organising your information on your lineage. I decided to buy this set of loose-leaf pages rather than an actual bound book and i'm glad i did as, having filled up some of the printed sheets, i now have a clearer idea of how best to lay family data out. I've bought blank sheets of cream-coloured paper from the same company, which i much prefer to these printed forms, as using blank sheets lets me do things my way - for example, i prefer not to follow the format of surname then given name. That being said, i needed help to get a visual template in my mind. I like the idea of having sheets where the focus is on individuals and complementary sheets where the focus is on the family unit of parents and children. I haven't yet used the "source" record sheets but they seem well designed. The only sheets i'm not happy with are the ones for census records, which at first sight have left me bewildered. I've bought a binder and started filling it, and i'm very pleased with the effect. It does indeed look like a bound book.
