Contigo Autoseal West Loop Stainless Steel Travel Mug with Easy Clean Lid, 16-Ounce, Stainless Steel

I have spent many hours researching travel mugs, so I could finally have a leak free hot latte every morning when I commute to work. This was the winner. With this leak free AUTO SEAL mechanism , a Mercedes of coffee mugs. It was expensive too, minimum £25 so I decided to wait an order one on AMAZON US half the price including the delivery . I even ordered extra one for my partner. While I was waiting I bought a budget HIWILL Double Walled Vacuum Insulated Travel Coffee Mug, for ten pounds. I chose the smaller size for my son and was using it while waiting for Contigo. Yes it was too small for a large latte but leak proof and hot for hours!!! When contigo 2.0 arrived it was impressive but heavy. The auto seal works well and it's easy to clean. It's bigger than Hiwill but that's what I wanted, Unfortunately coffee loose the temperature very quickly. Having been using the hiwill I could feel huge difference. No more hot coffee on my desk when I arrive to work. So disappointed....I am considering sending them back , but it will be to US ... UPDATE: After few hit and misses with latte temperature and rinsing the cup with boiling water to make it hot I have no issues with the right temperature for at least 3 hours ! A win!

Keeps my coffee hot or at least warm enough to drink for hours. I find my coffee still hot after 5 hours and warm enough after 7. The lid has a toggle to lock the flash to prevent accidents. I find the press button to open the drinking aperture to work well. I opted for the stainless steel finish, because I thought the others might get tatty quite quickly. After 4 months it still looks fine. The flask is robust and I have had no leakage. There is an advisory not to put the flask inside your bag, so I guess the manufacturers are not 100% confident. It is easy to clean, with the locking mechanism designed to open up specifically for that purpose. And it also fits the drinks holder in my car perfectly. I am happy.

This is great for the car as it need the button to be pressed ot drink so no spilled hot coffee and the seal is ecxellent. I have to make my coffee cooler now as this keeps it too hot as the insulation is excellent. UPDATE.update May 2025 now 1 jan 2026 still going strong. I bought this flask back in 2018 and use it several times most days at least 330 days a year. Its been dropped loads of times and the base fell off, this was a metal cap fitted for aesthetics as the flask is still retaining the heat and the mechanics of the no spill top are still going well . It’s a well made piece of kit and served me very well. Buy it for life

Although this product kept the drink hot for a long time, unfortunately it no longer 'seals'. Not too happy.

Arrived on time and well packaged, only issue was that it wasn't the colour I ordered, but the customer service when I mentioned the colour was wrong was excellent. I got a full refund and could keep the item. It is made of high quality materials, keeps drinks so hot that you have to be careful to not burn yourself even after several hours. The only slight flaw I see with the product is that it alters the taste of the tea I drink out of it, even from its first use. Hopefully this will fade with time but other than that it's a great product and I recommend it for those of you who always let your tea/coffee go cold or want something for the car or commute to work.

Love these travel mugs. They may be pricey but well worth it, this is the 3rd one Ive purchased now so all the family have their own! If you intend to drink your freshly made hot drink in the next hour or so then allow it to cool before putting it in the mug. Seriously it stays scorching hot for hours. No leaks, not had need to use the 'lock' function as the standard seal has been sufficient. Keeps cold drinks cold too without that condensation forming on the outside making everything else wet. Easily cleaned too, the lid is safe on the top shelf in the dishwasher not that we have one and i've not felt the need of any 'deep cleaning', there's no seals for stale coffee to lurk behind etc. The other half 'wears' his in a pocket on his work trousers, its survived the drop test too.

None of the locally made cups suited my needs, this looked perfect. It arrived today, I have given it a short test. The lid fits easily, it doesn't leak and the drinking button is easy to press. The best thing about this cup is that there is no spill around the sip hole when drinking. The slight downside is the with it being American it doesn't fit our cup holder in the car, however I realised this when buying so I am not marking it down for this issue. If you want a cup you can use when driving, this is the one. I have been using this for a few days now, wait a lot longer than the recommended 3 mins before putting the lid on or add cold water, lesson learnt, a burnt lip, this cup is great

the idea is very good .i am disabled and i dont sleep too well so after 2 hours in bed i find myself on my recliner at around 3am .and wanting a hot drink ..so far i have tried many cups with lids on but as i fall asleep with a hot drink and i end up spilling red hot tea all over me ...! so when i saw this cup i thought i had solved the problem and YES it works but my NEW cup has 2 dents in it so i have sent it back and reordered .also the mouthpiece could be better designed .you have to hold a full cup of hot liquid high up to get a sip maybe the next generation of cup will have addresses this //all in all a wonderful idea there are other cups in a 2 pack they are just a little smaller but the cost is about the same i have ordered a twin pack ..would i purchase again ..yes but please make some improvements to the mouth piece and make sure your products are free from dents

Un produit excellent. Permet le transport de thé ou autre boissons chaude, reste chaud très longtemps. Le système de fermeture automatique est très bien pour le transport en toute condition. Très facile d'utilisation et d'entretien

They are the best in my veiw to have as a coffee cup. The West Loop holds the heat, does not leak at any angle. You can get spare parts for them at a reasonable price. The west loop lid can go in the top shelf of a dish washer but the cup needs to be washed by hand as the colour can come off.

Best product that keeps your drink either hot or cold for a long period of time.

Feita em aço inox, possui sistema de auto-fechamento, ajuda muito pra quem tem medo de deixar o líquido cair no chão ou em qualquer superfície. Não recomendo para líquidos viscosos.
