Bought this for one of my servers and itโs been working great so far.

This atx 3.0 PSU is GREAT cost to performance value! At 1650W, it offers more power than you'll most likely ever need. But, that also means you can upgrade and add hardware to your rig without ever having to worry about power demands. It will handle the requirements of high-end gpus and cpus without dropping a sweat. It comes with plenty of cables for your components, and being atx 3.0 means you don't have to worry about using that annoying adapter that comes with 40xx series rtx gpus. Do yourself a favor and pick this little guy up. You won't be disappointed.

Bought this to go with a 4090 back around Christmas. I got the 1650W, thinking about future proofing. First time buying Thermaltake, but already regret it. The fan in the unit behaves spastic. It's constantly spinning high, then low, then high, then low, without any type of pattern or anything. Completely random. I can't go more than 10 - 15 mins max, without it instantly shutting down entirely. I figured it may have been thermals for some reason, but it's quite cool upon immediate inspection. This may just be a dud of a unit, but fair warning. I read reviews mentioning the fans were loud which didn't concern me as my tower is far from my desk, but this fan sounds possessed. There has to be something wrong with this unit in particular. Update - July 18, 2023: I've come to confirm that this PSU gets knocked offline due to transient spikes. Reached out to Thermaltake support, twice, and was completely ignored on both attempts. I have no idea how a "Platinum Certified" 1650W PSU gets knocked offline by a 4090, but, there it is. Buy at your own peril.

This power supply has crashing issues when the GPU is under load. It also has fan speed issues that seem arbitrary and almost unrelated to GPU loading. For example, when playing a game utilizing 99% GPU load, looking at complex geometry, the fan may not even be audible. However, looking at the ground with GPU load dropping to less than 95%, the fan ramps up to maximum speed and is extremely loud. The variable nature of this is actually much worse than a constant loud speed as this power supply can never decide which games, or which moments in which games to ramp up the fan. It is literally constantly going from minimum to maximum and back again. I RMA'd my first unit, used multiple 12V gpu cables to my 4090, used cablemod cables, used both 12V slots on the supply, and nothing would remedy this problem. However the biggest issue is the random crashing. Much like how this unit cannot decide how to use it's fan, it can also not decide which games under which loads to crash. I am one of the few people who bought and played Immortals of Aveum, and this game was an incredible pain to get through because my computer would constantly crash, just straight to black screen, with the GPU fan maxing out during a crash, and requiring me to hold the power button of the computer to get a complete shutoff before powering on again. Then the very next day I play Last of Us Part 1, which also maxes out my GPU load, 10 hours of playtime, no crashing. Look at the other 1 star reviews. You'll see this exact problem repeated in them: black screen crashing with fans maxing during crash. I do not recommend that anyone purchase this gpu, and wish I had gotten a refund earlier as now I am stuck with a paperweight that I am replacing with an MSI MEG AI1300P, by all accounts a similar but hopefully more stable power supply.

More than enough power to run any setup you have in mind. This currently powers an over locked 12900k and an MSI GeForce rtx 4090 Suprim liquid X along with a full custom water loop and 12 fans. Under full load, system pulls 1100 watts from this power supply. Power remains rock steady throughout.
