She is a 13 year old staffordshire terrier (65lbs). Her only medical issues include arthritis in multiple joints and discoid lupus of her nose. I started her on this supplement because she was limping a lot especially after activity and was experiencing joint pain at least 5 days a week that effected her mood and ability to be active. I choose this supplement because of the basic 3 ingredients: glucosamine, MSM, and fish oil. She is supposed to take 2 tablets, but can only tolerate 1 tablet a day due to diarrhea. The one pill has allowed her to be pain free after about 7 days of being on the supplement. She has had the urges to play and gets the zoomies again (she hasn't done for about 2 years). I was also surprised to see an increase in her back legs muscle strength! She was having some difficulty climbing on the couch and we had to build her a step stool to assist her. She no longer needs assistance and can easily jump on the couch and can easily climb steps again. I also noticed increased softness/shininess in her coat and improvement in the lupus on her nose. Im extremely satisfied with how effective this supplement is. I feel like Lexi has gotten some years back into her life and has had such an improvement in her quality of life.

They smell good and look like good quality but my dogs don’t like the taste so I wrap them in lunch meat. My dog has a bad hip but honestly since she’s been taking these, she has been moving around a lot better. I think they have really improved the quality of her life.

My six-year-old mini Australian Shepherd developed an injury to her leg. I had to restrict her movements for several weeks, which, as all of you know is not an easy thing to do with a mini Aussie! After some time I decided to look into some kind of glucosamine for her hip and her leg. I give her two a day and it has been an amazing help to her! If I forget, I can see the difference! Certainly worth the purchase

I bought these because I have Pomeranians and they have notorious records of having hip and knee, especially knee issues and since they’ve been on this, they don’t seem to do the what I call ballet yoga stretch with her leg is when they are trying to pop their knee back into place before walking, they don’t do it as much so it must be helping I’ve always Had them on supplements, but they seem to help a little better.

I gave this VetIQ supplement to my 14 year old dog for months, there was no improvement shown. Now I give her GALLIPRANT and she’s like a new young dog. She can walk up and down the stairs again and jump onto the bed or onto the car seat. Also, we take longer walks because before they were very short because they were painful for her. I don’t like to give a bad review to any product but I want to help other dog owners who have older dogs with hip, joint or arthritis problems like my dog. You will need a Vet’s prescription for Galliprant but believe me Galliprant really works.
