Great backpack, perfect for shorter folks!
I’m 4’11.5” (151 cm) and this backpack fits me perfectly! I’m a student so I appreciate all the pockets in every compartment to organize stationary. The zippers are a little stiff, but I think it’s because the material is water resistant, and the zippers are tucked away under the zipper placket. This bag is pretty casual, and can be used for short travel too. It could probably hold a pair of jeans, and 2-3 tops, depending on size (I’m petite so my opinion is probably skewed). The straps are padded but not overly padded, so they’re comfortable. I was going between this backpack and the Sküle, and I don’t regret my decision. This bag has it all, so I never thought “man, I wish I got the Sküle instead.” The Raven is a little bit more expensive than the Sküle, but I don’t mind. I know I’ll get a lot of use from this bag! I would say the only "con" is that the backpack does not stand on its own. It definitely needs to lean on something. The front of the back is shorter than the back, so it will fall forward otherwise.

Great little bag. Nice looking, well made. Lots of organization.
This smaller sized backpack is tricky to pull off but the Raven 20 does it well. I thought I didn't like the gappy laptop/tablet sleeve. It doesn't close snug on your device at the top--and I even considered installing a velcro strap of some sort. But before I got around to it, I realized I like it gaping like that. It's always there sort of mouth open ready to be fed my device, which can go in one handed. There is not a ton of space, so it's not going anywhere. But this style of sleeve/pocket might not be to everyone's liking. As for the rest, there's a surprising amount of organization pockets for such a little pack. Personally the best strategy is to figure out which are most convenient and memorable for my use patterns and just not use the rest. Otherwise, I forget where I put things. So, arguably there are too many organization options, but I'm not sure that's really a thing you can have too many of. Better to have options and adapt to what fits you, I think.

Nice bag for daily use
Functional, convenient, at the 'right size', and looks good. All I needed. The diagonal zipper gives it some character -- one of my favorite aspects of it. And obviously known brand means they take care of the small details - there are no big annoyances. They did raise the price since I bought it at 70$ to 100$...

Great LITTLE backpack for commuters or students.
This is a great little backpack for commuters or students that don't need to carry a large load of books. The build quality and materials are excellent. The Raven's organization and layout is by far superior to any of the other backpacks in this class. It's a little too small for my daughter to carry all of her books, folders, notebooks and laptop for highschool. We are choosing the Raven 28 even though it's a touch larger than she needs. I wish that they made a Raven 24 designed the same as the 28. I highly recommend this backpack.

Best Work Bag I’ve Ever Owned
My all time favorite backpack. This is my go to for work, travel, and daily errands. I’ve taken this backpack all over the place already and it hasn’t shown any signs of wear and tear. The mesh zipper pockets are perfect for organization and I plan to keep using this brand for a long time.

Mostly great, with 2 drawbacks
Overall, this seems like a pretty great compact, moderately durable bag with a bunch of pockets to compartmentalize things. I find there to be 2 drawbacks though, which will likely end up in me returning it: TBD. 1. If you plan to use the side pockets to hold a water bottle - or anything that will stick out above the side pocket fabric - be aware it will be difficult to open the bag fully with the bottle there because of how it aligns with the zipper. I inserted a 16oz Owala Freesip (the kids size one) and it was a challenge. It stops about 3-4” short of bottom of zipper track. You can certainly push the zipper down to end of track which sits maybe 1” below the pocket, but it can be hard to grab the pull tie on to bring it back up. I included picture with front pulled down showing end of zipper track (left) vs. where it runs into the small water bottle (right). This was the biggest drawback for me. 2. When I put the laptop in, it bubbles out into the pouch into the bag a little. Not the end of the world, but I would have expected (hoped) the elastic on sides would account for the laptop in there and then the fabric across front would still be flat against the laptop. Straps are otherwise comfortable and just enough padding, nice top handle to grab and go, fairly soft backing so it shouldn’t pill your shirt with wear.

A very nice bag
I love this backpack! I have a 28l version as well that I used to use for my every day bag, but it was just too big for that purpose. I got this one for my every day bag, and now that 28l is my weekend trip bag. The materials, color, durability, thoughtful design, etc make this a fantastic bag.

great
my new favorite day bag. super easy to organize, holds way more than i expected. is small enough that it keeps you from making it too heavy. water bottle is easy to grab and put away while wearing. love the top quick pouch, which is lined with a very soft fabric so you can put sunglasses or something in there (in my case a gameboy). only thing i wish it had was a security compartment in the back- but i can live without it. zippers feel nice, although the side pockets can black the zipper to the main compartment. i've adapted by usint a slightly shorter water bottle than normal, which helps keep the weight down even more. color is perfect, and the sponginess of the back and shoulder straps feels very premium.

Nice.
After far too long searching for a new rucksack..I purchased the Raven a few days ago. Absolutely what I was after. 'feels' like a quality product. Lots of pockets. And compared to my last rucksack (Stubble Commuter), feels lighter. The inside of the bag is a lighter colour, meaning you don't need a flashlight to find stuff. Expensive yes. But well worth it.
