Pages in this pad are like those luxurious cloth-like napkins that you only get at Christmas when you go to somebody else house, when they want to impress you: each page feels too good to tear out and throw away, so each pen stroke is likely something you’d put more thought into, especially given the size of the notepad’s pages. The versatile design of the paper allows for both all weather pens, as well as ones closer to hand. However, directions discourage the use of gel ink pens (which I put to the test) over the preferred ball-point, but I found both to work well in post-wet conditions (after time to cure). Unfortunately the all weather pens cost the Earth (ironically) and so I am grateful that even wax crayons will do the job, knowing how pens can just go missing. This is a notepad and that’s all anybody really needs it to be, but sometimes the design department gets bored, or it feel the heat from new competitors and begins to over-bloat their design with additional swiss-army-knife like functionality. Yes, it does that, with conversion tables and ruled edges on the toughened plastic front and back covers, but it’s not intrusive and could be useful as this product likely serves many industries. For myself I have seen first hand how even unrecommended writing tools are taken care of and that’s enough for me. “Write in the Rain” - I could be crying when I write ..o0 (food for thought) This is a product that is made in the United States of America, which, if you’re from a First World country, means something.

Good Stuff.
Although a touch on the pricey side for what it is, it's hard to deny that they are quite water resistant and tough. I did make the mistake of going for a smaller size but it still holds on to the writing even when the heavens (lightly) open up.

Allows you to do what it says
I use with a 2B pencil. Very useful for jotting down thoughts - even in the rain.

Combine with a space pen and its a great pairing notes in any environment.
I work in the Oil & Gas industry and often need to take notes in damp, wet, greasy or oily conditions. The regular tally books I get given from work always fall apart and spoiled easily. This notepad combined with a Fisher Space pen allows me to take notes in rain or when grease/oil gets on the paper and the paper is truly hydrophobic. Water drops just run off and the space pen ink doesn't get smudged either. Great combination.

Used all the time for expeditions
Being out and about everyday leading expeditions I needed something to use to make notes. This is easy to write on, a good size, and handles the weather

Great Product BUT
Great little note book for people that need to write outside in all weathers however it’s way overpriced with cheaper options available. I say cheaper options but not inferior options. Bottom line is it does what it says on the tin but so does other brands at half the price
