Why did you pick this product vs others?: Price and reviews Maneuverability: Pretty agile. Ordered as a gift for a child. Out of the box the kids put this thing to the test, full speed ahead and straight into reverse. It went under water, i thought well that was a fun 5 minutes, but nope, it came right back up and kept on going! So far its been a pretty great little boat! Go ahead and order batteries for the controller 3 AAA, (i think) to save yourself a trip to the dollar store. Recharge time was OK. It has an alarm that goes off when boat charge gets low to let us know to get it to shore. It's a pretty quick, fun little boat! Good purchase for the price!

I've always had RC cars, played with an inexpensive drone, but didn't own a boat despite having dabbled with a slow-moving one at an amusement park. Reviews looked great, and even if this didn't work, the design and price were nice enough just to have as a display piece. Looks even better in person! Instructions and functionality were amazingly simple, plopped this solid thing down, and was good to go! Even with the apprehension of the unfamiliar style of controller, I was zooming and turning easily in under a minute. WOW! This thing is QUICK! Even in a small pool, steering was good enough to make turns without having to stop or slow. Reverse and flip features are excellent. LEDs are super bright, going to have another go after sunset. Joy, fun, seasons in the sun, the boat is about the size of my shoe, just right.

This boat is impressive! It’s really fast but you have the option to adjust how fast it goes in relation to the trigger pull via dial on the side. It turns very quickly & is a lot of Fun. The battery lasts a very decent amount & the LeD helps you see it in the dark. One bonus feature they don’t mention is that the motor is actually water cooled! There is an intake on the bottom towards the back, it scoops in water passes it through a hose and to an aluminum heat sink then out a port on the side. This helps everything keep from overheating and lets it run faster / longer! It is impressive. There is also a stand included to display the boat on a shelf & included a few spare parts. I would highly recommend this boat!

When I got the product, I was surprised it came with a actual picture on the box of the boat, instead of a clip art pic of a random picture of a boat found on google. It was very fun to drive it around, I tried it in a pool and a lake. It was fun with its short turning radius when going at a higher speed and a option to put it in reverse to get out of a said wall of a swimming pool. It took me about 10, to 20 minutes to get the hang of it but it was great. The speed can be adjusted for little kids, or pros, or ,beginners that have never had a controller in there hands. Although the battery placement needs some improvement, the boat was amazing. Than after a trip to the lake something started to happen with the prop and rudder. In the idle position the boat would think it’s in reverse. I tried to adjust it by turning it on and off, taking the battery’s out or even opening up the controller to see if a crum or sand got in the way of it but nothing. So I don’t know what to do so there goes a star. Also in a pretty still pool water, where there were zero to no waves, the boat would capsize, which is normal if something happens to it, but on how it says on the box, “capsize recovery” It would not recover, so someone would have to jump into the pool and flip it manually before the water took over the compartment with the batteries and smart board. Maybe that’s how it got stuck in reverse due to the smart board glitching out saying that it wants to go in reverse all the time, but why would the boat be sending signals to the controller? Anyways it could be a water problem, or a manufacturing problem, but if you experience this right out of the box just return it, and get a other one that’s my only advice. So I recommend keeping the box.

This little boat is awesome! The range is great, it's really fast, and I like how it can flip itself over if it gets turned around. Highly recommend for any age

This RC boat looked like a lot of fun — the design is cool, it goes fast, and the LED lights are a nice touch. My child was super excited to use it, and I loved that it was something we could enjoy together. Unfortunately, it didn’t hold up well in water. After only a short time in the pool/lake, it stopped working, which was disappointing for both my sad kid and me. Great idea, but the durability needs improvement for it to be worth buying.

I'm delighted with this little boat. my grandkids have played and played with it and it's still work's great. the flip over function takes some practice. But it definitely works. the battery life expectancy is even greater than I hoped for. I recommend this to any Grandpa such as myself.

I got this one for a friend. It’s really cool, the controller respond fast, you can flip it if it goes upside down. The battery lasted longer than expected. Definitely worth it.

Nice quality item easy to charge battery and easy to transport controls are also very simple. Very fast across the water self rights at the push of a button if it goes over and a bleep when battery is exhausted and needs to come in. Great fun good value and performs as described. Shame it does not have a spare battery included for double the fun but these can be purchased.

After two months use it starts to beep non stop even if the battery is full and the boat is near me , over priced for the quality
