BGS 1196 | Combination Spanner Set | 6 - 32 mm | 25 pcs.

I ended up buying this just for the bag/holder more than the spanners themselves. The holder is pretty good, enough to fit in a better range of quality spanners. I like the Velcro closure. The metal seems as normal as other cheap brands, though I will say the jaws on these are a bit sharp and unfinished so much more scratchy than a better, polished and finished set. This is of course the rule for all tools - you get what you pay for. These, like all other cheaper sets are just Chrome Vanadium Steel - nothing special despite all the advert blurb. That being said, for a shed or car/bike set to get your out of emergencies they will do the job fine! Priced well hence the 5 stars from me. Overall happy with the purchase!

Ok cos got on offer , but not genuine

Disappointed.I have big doubts that these are original BGS spanners. I got a original BGS tools and they have BGS mark on. These spanners have only hrome vanadium sign and HR. mark , and how I think which have nothing to do with BGS. Also holding case was with hole .

THE SPANNER SET WAS, WITHOUT QUESTION, EXTREMELY GOOD AND OF GOOD QUALITY. HOWEVER THE FABRIC IN WHICH THE SPANNERS ARE HELD IS COMPLETELY ANOTHER MATTER! THERE ARE TWO (2) HOLES ON THE TOP, AT THE LEFT AND RIGHT SIDE, OF THE FABRIC CASE WHICH THE USER CAN HANG THE COMPLETE SET ON A WALL. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY USELESS SEEING THAT IT HAS TO HOLD THE WEIGHT OF 7 KILOGRAM. THERE SHOULD BE FOUR (4) SUCH HOLES ALONG THE TOP OF THIS FABRIC CASE WHICH WILL ALLOW THE FABRIC CASE TO HANG ON THE WALL WITHOUT ANY STRAIN UNDER THE WEIGHT OF THE 7 KILOGRAM SPANNERS. THE OTHER MATTER IS THAT ON ARRIVAL THIS WHOLE SET WAS TIED TOGETHER IN A ROLL WITH FLIMSEY PIECE OF RIBBON. THIS IS A COMPLETE DISGRACE AS BGS TECHNIC BEING SUCH A REPUTABLE GERMAN COMPANY SHOULD HAVE MORE CONSIDERATION FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS AND HAVE SUPPLIED A VELCRO BAND TO HOLD THE SPANNER SET TOGETHER IN THE FABRIC CASE. COME ON, GERMAN DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY, IS FAILING ON THIS MATTER. REDESIGN THIS FABRIC CASE AND PUT ANOTHER TWO (2) HOLES IN THE TOP FOR HANGING ON A WALL.

Ich habe den BGS 1196 Maul-Ringschlüssel-Satz gekauft, um meinen Werkzeugkasten für die Arbeit an Auto und Motorrad zu erweitern. Das Set hat mich überzeugt! Was gut ist: · Große Auswahl: Mit 25 Teilen in den gängigsten Größen (von 6mm bis 24mm) hat man für die meisten Standardarbeiten den passenden Schlüssel parat. Die Aufteilung von Maul- und Ringseite ist praktisch. · Hohe Qualität: Die Schlüssel fühlen sich wertig an, sind robust verarbeitet und liegen gut in der Hand. Der Chrom-Vanadium-Stahl scheint belastbar zu sein. · Gute Ordnung: Der mitgelieferte Kunststoff-Koffer hält die Schlüssel sicher an ihrem Platz und sorgt für Übersicht. So geht nichts verloren. · Preis-Leistung: Für den gezahlten Preis erhält man ein komplettes, solides Set. Ein echter Mehrwert für Hobby-Schrauber und Profis. Was zu beachten ist: · Die Schlüssel sind relativ schmal/lang. Für extrem feste, eingerostete Muttern würde ich aus Sicherheitsgründen trotzdem einen Knarrenschlüssel oder eine Rohrzange empfehlen, um ein Abrutschen oder Überdrehen zu vermeiden. Das ist aber bei diesem Schlüsseltyp normal. Fazit: Ein sehr gutes,durchdachtes Basisset. Es ist mein Go-to-Werkzeug geworden, wenn ich schnell eine Mutter oder Schraube lösen oder festziehen muss. Die Verarbeitung stimmt, die Aufbewahrung ist praktisch und der Umfang reicht für 95% der Arbeiten aus. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
