No, don't try, they're for stone, tiles etc. Buy some thin steel cutting discs.

After a while you may find that the grain on the segments start to glaze over. Cutting into a different material such as house brick will sometimes revive the grain. Replacement is needed when the segments get low, or cutting becomes difficult.
