A great movie.
With a young (35 year old) Jill Wagner and a very good story it produced an excellent movie. Bill Abbott was running Hallmark and the films made during that time were the best of their Rom-Coms.

This is a great movie. One that you could watch once a week or more. The only kind I will buy.

Hats off to Hallmark and another movie well donel! The two lead actors Annie and Ben ( Jill Wagner and Colin Egglesfield ) have an easy-going chemistry that is seen immediately on screen. They give a refreshing and credible performance from start to finish. The humor in this film is also great, its not a comedy but when it is exchanged its done to perfection. The plot- With plans to leave their small town, teenage loves Annie and Ben elope. Their big city plans are halted, though, when Annie’s father has the marriage annulled. Ben moves to New York, while Annie stays in Iowa to help her family. Fifteen years later as both are engaged to their respective fiancés, the two discover that their annulment was never finalized so they have to meet and make their divorce legal. When romantic feelings resurface, Annie and Ben must decide if their past love could be the love of their future.

A really good film to add to your collection, it starts with two young people in love, they elope and get married, her dad goes after them and takes her home from the church, and says he is going to get the wedding cancelled, the lad loves her but hasn't got anything to offer her,so he lets her go, He moves to New York, she stays in the mid west, he makes a name for himself, He has tried to contact her but her father took all the letters and screened all the phone calls, fifthteen years down the road they both want to get married to other people believing they are free to do so, but there is a problem, the marriage was never cancelled, so they have to meet up again to sort it all out, that's when the feeling re service,

Loved this movie. Boy and girl fall in love, marry and then her father intervenes and ?? annuls the wedding. Fast forward 15 years and each is getting ready to marry someone else. Enter a confusing yet interesting sequence of events that show their love from years ago is still there. Loved the ending. Highly recommend this movie.
