I bought two of these (at separate times) cause the release tab was torn off by high bush while off-roading. I mounted my high lift jack on the left rear door of my Jeep Wrangler Rubicon cause with a 4in lift and 37s for tires, I wanted ease of access to my high lift and being mounted on the hood, while very popular, to me, impractical for my setup. So, I mistakenly had the tab facing out away from the Jeep instead of towards the Jeep. I will saw that the product does as advertised. Even with the release tab ripped off, it still kept the high lift jack handle from bouncing around. However, it does not prevent the jack handle from being articulated so I ordered a second one the same day as the trail I went on.

Perfect for my Needs

My high-lift jack is well over twenty years old, so I was worried about it fitting properly, but it slid right on and held firm in place. much better than the spring steel wire clip that wore out years ago. Highly recommend for any high lift jack owners especially if you use the jack a lot, or just for storage and the price makes it a no-brainer.

Satisfied with this, it is very tight which is what I wanted no more clanking!
