i've purchased the Rumford corn starch a few times - don't mind buying it - however - i will never again purchase their "aluminum-free" baking powder because we tested it and it was NOT "aluminum-free" - at least not the can i bought. Rumford is an old name in several products, and for all the time they've been in business, they've created their products the same as always, so the change from using aluminum couldn't come easy for them, so evidently they didn't REALLY do it. as previously stated - i'll buy their corn starch, but nothing else.

I’ve been using this corn starch for a few weeks now, and overall I’m really happy with it. It works great for thickening sauces and gravies—no lumps if you mix it right. I also tried it for baking, and it helped give my cookies a softer texture. The packaging is simple and easy to store, which I appreciate. On the downside, the bag isn’t resealable, so you’ll probably need a clip or container. It can also get a bit messy when scooping since the powder is very fine. Still, for the price and performance, it’s a reliable kitchen staple I’d buy again.

Do NOT make the same mistake I did! There is hardly any cornstarch for the price! The item is WAY overpriced for what you get. I am very very unhappy with my purchase and will never purchase this again!
