How is Gabbie different from Erica?

Gabbie is slightly smaller 11- 1/2 x 8- 1/2 x 7 deep vs Erica: 12 wide x 10 -1/2 high x 5 deep, no material on straps at where purse goes to strap, Erica has a "stick out" pocket vs. Gabbie has another zipper. Top line is slightly curved up on Gabbie at ends. Not sure about Ericka colors. I am very happy with the Gabbie Small.

Can this be used as a school bag for college ?

Not quite sure what you mean for a school bag (uh oh, showing my age), but it is a smaller bag, won't hold larger items. Not sure if this helps or not. Example, small laptop won't fit. I have a wallet, sunglasses, pens, keys, cell phone and few other items...that's all.

my iPad Mini dimension is 8” x 5.31” x 0.24”, can it fit in the front top zip pocket?

This bag works for me! It’s not too big, has five outside pockets for phone, transit card, Kleenex and house/car key. I can find everything quickly. The zippers are smooth and durable. It is wide enough to fit my wallet and power bank. It is my go to everyday crossbody bag.
