I got rid of the iron thanks to this steamer. One common issue with steamers is leakage caused by poor water quality. However, after using this item for 6 months, I've experienced no leakage and haven't noticed any decrease in steam pressure. Basically, it performs as well as it did when I first bought it. It offers three modes and a button for continuous steam or on-demand bursts. 100% recommendated!

I had high expectations for the Philips All-In-One 8500, especially coming from a brand like Philips and considering the premium price. Unfortunately, my experience has been overwhelmingly negative. Build Quality – Shockingly Cheap & THIN for the Price: The first thing that stood out was how plasticky and flimsy the board feels, especially on the back. The materials are so thin that it feels unbalanced and unstable during use. The clips on the board look like they could break after just a few uses, something I'd never expect from a premium product. Ironing Performance – Far from Impressive Even though I dry my T-shirts on hangers (so they start mostly wrinkle-free), the ironing results were disappointing. Vertical ironing in particular takes a lot of manual manipulation of the fabric and ends up taking more time than simply ironing horizontally on a the normal board. Odor removal didn’t work at all, and the overall finish was mediocre at best. Scale Problems – Despite “No Scaling” Claims One of the biggest surprises: although Philips advertises this model as “no scaling,” I found scale powder on dark clothing after only the second tank refill. This is exactly what I experienced with cheaper Philips steam stations that don’t have descaling features. For a unit that’s supposed to be self-maintaining, this is unacceptable. Poor Performance on Most Fabrics On bedsheets, pillowcases, and towels, the machine does practically nothing. The only items it handled reasonably well were thin summer clothes — and even there, the results were not premium-level. Overall Verdict For the price, the quality and performance are shockingly low. I’m genuinely disappointed in Philips for releasing something that feels unfinished and cheaply built. I will be returning it, and I hope this review helps others make an informed decision. Not recommended.

I have been using philips steam generator irons for a long time and I wanted to get rid of the bulky ironing table while renewing the iron. I was hesitant at first as it is an expensive item and the steam output is lower than steam generators. But the performance is really good, steam is sufficient and smaller multi angle bard is very useful. Really happy with the purchase.

This is a top range model the quality is excellent. First off, it is very simple to assemble, I didn't need to read the instruction manual to understand how it fits together. Secondly, the functions are straight forward; 1 power button and 3 strength modes- weak, good and bazooka. This thing really shoots out steam like no other steamer I've used before. I had the easiest time pressing jeans, shirts and linen. I had a huge load of laundry to press and I breezed through them. Highly recommended! I hope the service life reaches 5 years
