Excellent Pan
Got this as I was also ordering some Made In pots. This was my first pan to arrive. I have now used it several times and can honestly say I wish I had done this when I first heard of Made In. Spending 25 years in the restaurant industry I can see the real value in the construction of these pans. AllClad was just too darn expensive. What . .$500 for a 2qt pot? Come on! But Made In has it locked in.The pan heats quickly and provides heat evenly from bottom to sides. No more will my sauce bubble on the bottom and burn on the sides. I see the bubbling all the way across the top right to the edges-and no burning! The pans are heavy enough to be indestructible but light enough that I don't feel like i'm lugging around cast iron. The handles do remain cool. I no longer need hot pads or handle covers like I did with my Wolfgang Puck set. They give good browning of steaks. They clean up nicely.Overall I am more than satisfied with these pans and now have even ordered another size. Like the quality tools in my woodshop, these are the best pans for creating great dishes. And you will see that too.As my REVIEW of the Customer Service and Ordering direct from Made In; I ordered some stuff here on Amazon, some direct from Made IN. Amazon shipped within a day or two. I placed a larger order on the Made In website on January 4, 2023 and am still waiting for a pot to ship (today is 01/19) One pan took over a week to ship, the second took 10 days. Emails and chat messages take 1-2 days for a generic response. Made IN's customer service and support is awful. There is no one to call and talk to. There has been no answers as to why it has been taking so long.

Surprisingly easy to clean and use
This is way more than I expected from a stainless steel skillet. I have always veered away from stainless because of the sticking and cleanup issues, but I haven't had those issues with this. It took some getting used to -- cooking with stainless is a completely different thing if you are used to nonstick cookware. One doesn't need as much heat to cook. The heat dispersion on this pan is very even. The company has videos viewable from their website on how to use this type of cookware, and how to clean it. I am even frying eggs on it, and not having any issues with cleanup. It's sturdy, it cleans well, and after weeks of use, I swear it looks as good as it did the day I got it.

EXPENSIVE but worth it
She who must be obeyed wanted this pan, but since it arrived, I have been doing the cooking. I love it. Heavy, right size, stainless steel, so well built, I bet a Hummer can run over it. Can be used in the oven too. No lid was included, but I got others that fit. With this pan, one has to remember, medium heat, not high like my wife likes to use, as it will burn the food. Use meat that has been out of the fridge at least 30 mins (as close to room temp as you can). Heat up the pan before throwing the goodies into it. Don't know how? Believe it or not, these folks include instructions!!!! So remember, heat the pan first, cook over medium heat, slow and steady gets the flavor right with very little stuck food.

Made In - The Perfect Pan
I regularly cook with a stainless steel pan for even the heat distribution and at high temperatures.I really like the handle on this pan, its feels stable and looks great too. I have an electric cooktop and it performed well. It was easy to clean after the first use. The quality is great (heavy) with 5 ply stainless clad. I'm glad I purchased it to replace my old pan. It's a bit pricey, but you get what you paid for ... and that's quality. Will get alot of good use out this pan.

I really love this pan. I have the 3.5 quart skillet and ordered a 2nd because it's so great.
I'm tired of Teflon coated nonstick pans. Even the expensive ones eventually scratch and chip leaving unsafe particles in your food. These Made In skillets are exactly what I was hoping for. Using a small amount of oil, you heat to medium at the most (high heat is not necessary because of the quality of heat distribution). Wait until the oil shimmers to add food. Wait to flip until the bottom is cooked enough to release easily. There's a bit of a learning curve, but well worth it. The pan heats so evenly food tastes better. I love that it can go from the stovetop to the oven as well. Worth every penny. So much that I ordered a 2nd.

Suitable for fire stove
Regretted buying it as i am using a electric stove top. Did my research before getting , was btw LE CREUSET and ALL CLAD. Really excited to try it out . Been using it for almost 1 month , noticed tat the bottom is uneven , the center will hv higher heat compared to the surrounding . Therefore, it always burn first , n i mean charred burn . The bottom did not touch the stove completely , therefore always making a sound when i maneuver it . I think this is smthg i read in a review bt it before but the other review as too good so i went ahead and got it .Am disappointed when i notice its uneven bottom .Other than that , the handle is great , i gotten a 10 inch pan i think the size is nice for a family of 3 . Its easy to clean , despite require some thorough cleaning around every 1-2 weeks . I think it would b a great pan to use for those who is using a fire stove .
