The holster fits and works perfectly. Ignore the bad reviews...
The poor reviews of this holster are very obviously not inserting the remote properly as indicated by the photos they posted. The reviewer that said the snap wouldn't snap didn't insert the remote all the way into the holster as evidenced by a gap... leather stretches, it's supposed to be snug when new. The reviewers that said the buttons are covered by the leather inserted the remote incorrectly and/or backwards... the screen is supposed to face your body so the snap sits over the on/off button and the strap ring on the bottom of the remote sits in a little cutout. The remote fits perfectly, all buttons are accessible, and it can even be turned on/off while in the holster. Great item.

Good holster with a couple of flaws
This holster is just what we hoped for. I made sure to purchase the correct size holster, the one specifically for the mini educator. Fit is tight as expected. Will loosen as leather ages. Only complaint is unable to see the settings or get to the on/off/light button. Needless we will be softening the leather snap strap quickly.

So close
Not too bad. Unless i missed it, wish there were pics of how the remote is supposed to go into the left-handed holder. I THINK I figured it out but not 100% sure if it’s in correctly. Would be nice if there was some sort of window to see what number you’re adjusting it to, if you need to. Otherwise, pretty good. Definitely sturdy and strong stitch work.

Fits perfect on the educator Mini
I was reluctant to purchase based on the prior reviews of not fitting the Mini transmitter correctly. It must have been updated since those reviews because mine fit the educator Mini transmitter perfectly. It was actually very snug on first installing the transmitter into the holster, to the point where initial snapping of the closure was difficult. As with any real leather product it should loosen a bit with normal wear and be easier to snap in the future. It appears to be well made with real leather, similar to stitching and hardware of a quality pistol holster. The belt clip is heavy duty and the buttons are positioned for easy activation. If I had to pick one thing that Could be improved, the main power button to the transmitter is not accessible when the transmitter is secured in the holster. Not a big deal since this only has to be powered on prior to use and powered off before storage. As for the durability, I just got it today so it has not seen any use but I expect it will last a long time based on the initial impression.

Does not fit mini educator
Terrible design of clip location. Doesn’t line up buttons for easy useGood idea but horrible design , I can’t believe they didn’t see this before final product draft

Easy to use remote, good quality
I broke my plastic holder clip 5 times in a year and decided I needed a new solution. I love this clip because 1. It’s a metal clip and won’t break easy 2. You can easily still access all the buttons when it’s on you 3. It is good quality and secure, so I know the remote won’t fall off me.

Built Backwards
This thing has the potential to be great. BUT the transmitter goes in this holster backwards, with the LCD display facing your body, not facing outward as it would naturally be if attached to the lanyard around your neck or the swivel clip, for example. Why?!! This makes muscle memory nearly obsolete because since the remote goes in backwards, the main buttons are opposite of where they would naturally be. For “righties,” your index and middle fingers would trigger a black or red stim respectively, while your thumb would apply a vibration or tone. This makes you have to think, or worse, look, before you apply a correction. Totally negates critical timing required for corrections in the heat of the moment. For example, if you’re used to having the transmitter on the lanyard, swivel clip or even “free” hand-held and you use this holster, you may think you’re pressing the T button for a vibration or a tone (assuming a stimulation is not required) and the dog gets zapped because of how the remote goes into the holster. The dog suffers for this.Conversely, your dog may engage in an unwanted behavior that requires immediate correction and you go for a black or red stim press, only the have the dog “laugh” at you because instead of applying a stimulation, the collar simply vibrated because your pressed the “T” and the dog didn’t care. You shouldn’t have to look twice to see where your buttons are or where your fingers are positioned to ensure you are applying the exact correction the situation requires. Time is of the essence and I’ve gone away from this holster and will return it because of this flaw. The bad news is the transmitter only fits in one way. I thought, “Easy, fix. I’ll just insert the remote the opposite way and my buttons are where they should be.” Nope. Not possible due to the pre-cut slots and perforations in the holster.Sure, one could theoretically get used to this setup - eventually. But the fact that someone in the design department deliberately thought that “backwards” was the way to go bothers me more than it probably should.Docked three stars for the issues mentioned above. However, I must be fair and state that aside from the major design flaw, the holster is very well made and seems really durable. Not a one star review solely based on construction.Additional Cons:- Blocks the LCD display completely, so unless your level selector is locked, good luck knowing your stim setting if you happen to accidentally turn the dial.- Holds the transmitter with on/off/light and mode buttons covered. No easy access for quick light up if needed at night, for example.- Due to how the remote has to go in the holster, the antenna faces slightly upright towards your waistline, so repeated pressure is applied while sitting which may damage the antenna overtime.Additional Pros:- Holds transmitter securely- Sturdy construction- Very strong belt clip- Durable

Better than the cord
Serves the purpose. Alittle stiff and hard get in and out, hopefully will loosen up with time. The down side is inability to see the settings.
