Amazing for people with noise sensitivity
I have Misophonia, which is a sensitivity to sounds and I have a trouble blocking out background noise so competing sounds can really be agitating however, I really wanted a fan for the summer. After a lot of research on quiet fans, I stumbled on this one and thought I would give it a try. It has exceeded my expectations. The fan quality is so amazing. The nature setting is so calming and quiet. I feel like I’m just sitting outside and feeling a breeze. I was worried about the fan, keeping me up at night from the noise, but it actually helped me fall asleep by feeling like I was sleeping in a hammock. I really enjoy the multiple speeds settings and the different combinations you could make from the nature sighting to sleep sighting. The remote control is really easy to use and understand. It’s really a powerful enough to cool my entire room while still being quiet enough for you to block out the noise, I would definitely recommend anybody who doesn’t want to hear a fan, but get all of the qualities. I will definitely buy another one!

Natural wind setting is perfect!
I love this fan! It’s really quiet and the natural setting is amazing. I don’t know why I didn’t know about this sooner. It makes me feel like I’m outside with the wind blowing . Very easy to assemble and is sturdy. I love the remote feature. Great fan!

Tower Fan with multiple Options
This is an impressive fan. Its quiet and there are a variety of different options to choose from. There are no flashing lights at night, and it comfortably cools a medium room without a/c The features of the occillator, the weight and the remote makes this high end fan an excellent bargain.

Finally a Fan That’s Powerful AND Quiet
We bought this tower fan for our bedroom after moving into our new place, and I’ve been genuinely impressed with it. I’m someone who likes sleeping with airflow and white noise, but a lot of fans are either obnoxiously loud or barely move air. This somehow manages to be both quiet and really effective. On the lower settings, it’s extremely quiet — enough that we can sleep with it on all night without it being distracting. On higher settings, the airflow is surprisingly strong for a bladeless fan. It cools down the room quickly and you can feel the air across a pretty wide area because of the oscillation. I also really like the different modes and speed options because it feels more customizable than a basic fan. The sleep mode in particular has been nice at night. The design looks sleek and modern too, which matters more to me than I thought it would. A lot of tower fans can look bulky or cheap, but this blends into the room nicely. One thing I especially appreciate is how safe and easy it is to clean compared to traditional fans with blades and grates that collect dust. Overall it feels like one of those purchases that immediately improves day-to-day comfort, especially during warmer nights.

Powerful but not long lasting
When I first got this fan 3 years ago, it was amazing. Super powerful air, and the air coming out of it really felt cold! Perfect for summers in our 2nd story bedroom that stays hotter than the main floor of the house. After about a year, I felt like its power decreased, or that maybe I had just grown so accustomed to using it often that I was misremembering how powerful it felt that first day we bought it After 2 years with the fan, I couldn't ignore the nagging feeling that it had lost even more power. I could only feel a slight breeze when I swore it used to be like a wind tunnel! I loved everything about this fan (the white noise, the nice remote, the settings) so my husband bought a second one. Lo and behold, we set it up and I was not crazy, it really felt like an icy wind tunnel! We turned the 2 fans on, on different sides of the room. The difference was stark. So, now I have the 3 year old fan, nothing but a white noise machine at this point, and the 1 year old fan, which, just like the other, is now starting to feel like its losing its strength and I'm assuming is well on its way to becoming a glorified white noise machine by year 3 as well. So, what to do? I love the fan, but I don't love its longevity. If you are ok with creating $80 annual fan replacement budget, then the fan will be great. I just wish I had read other reviews explaing this before purchasing it in the first place. I may have to just go back to my old fashioned standing blade fan that, while it didn't have a fancy remote or settings, never did let me down with the consistent wind it put out for over a decade! Again, it's a shame because I loved these fans!!

A light sleeper’s background noise paradise
I am the worlds lightest sleeper and I’m here to say This fan has the perfect fan noise- it’s not a hum, it’s not a buzz, it’s not cranky noise- just a soft blow- not so much it’s obvious but just enough to drown out edgy noise. Level 3 speed and me have been slumbering together for years now. The only problem I’ve had is that my baby got accustomed to it and when it came time to move to his own room, the fan went there too. I then tried to substitute for a table top fan we had- garbage hummy noise. Then a different tower fan stored in the basement- nails on a chalkboard. After weeks of crap sleep without my Dreo my husband said we have to get another one. Ah yet again, peaceful sleep and the soft perfect blow of my Dreo tower fan level 3. Homeostasis restored. It’s a good size and is sleek and tucked away in the room. It has lots of settings but I never need to change it. Great quality and has worked for 3 years and counting

The not so little tower fan that could..
Okay so I typically only leave reviews on products I like and or somewhat impress me. I've seen the bad reviews, the one stars and up. I decided to take the risk anyways since my old bladeless fan bit it hard. Given heat rises in a two story house and summer is coming. I needed a new fan. Came in just now, I got it set up. Now the only thing I need from any fan is it's quiet enough to be background noise and a good push of air flow. If it's 75 degrees down stairs. It's 95 or more upstairs. So I need something that will push and circulate! So the review. It's pretty solid! I have it set to setting 7, I can feel the air moving, I can feel it cooling. So my needs are met there. Is it whisper quiet? Not really but it's humming not chugging. It has a sound mode for Mute which honestly as of just getting it out of the box. The fan is very quiet and Mute doesn't seem to make any difference. I'm not going to Gaslight everyone into buying it. OMG Best fan EVAH MUST BUY NOOOW! No.. It's a solid fan, I got it for a price of a typical online fan, glad I didn't pay in store prices. But for what I paid, what I need it for, and it for now doing what I want. Gonna give it five stars. Things happen, stuff wears out, or stuff gets damaged in transit. It works, I can feel a noticeable difference, the push power is reasonable and yeah. It's doing what I need it too! Nothing more nothing less. It's made of seemingly basic plastic but I haven't noticed any smells or anything from it. It's not swaying or tipping but I have three cats, they are going to knock it over eventually. And for $69.96 price it's saving me from the 100+ at a store. So I think it's an okay buy. If you made it this far and you want one? Get one. if not keep looking and find something you are willing to take a chance on. But for now 5 stars I am a happy non sweating camper.

Very Nice! Love it!
Dreo vs Lasko Tower Fans--Which Should You Buy? Summer is coming, and everyone could use a little more cooling on hot summer days. Gone are the days of box fans or awkward top heavy circular oscillating fans. Today, when people need a little extra air flow, they go for a tower fan with a remote. As you might expect, there is a dizzying array of choices available. In this article, we’ll compare the Lasko 2511 with a new option on the market, the Dreo. 36” tower fan. Both of these fans offer a quality experience, but which should you buy? Air Flow As you would expect, fan speed, or more specifically, the wind speed of the air leaving the fan, is probably the most important consideration when selecting one. You want something that will move air! Both the Lasko and Dreo tower fans offer multiple speeds to customize your cooling comfort. The Lasko has three speeds, the lowest bing really gentle, with the highest being significant enough to be felt 8 feet away. The Dreo, on the other hand, has four speeds available. 1, 2, and 3 are pretty comparable to the feel of the Lasko. However, speed 4 is noticeably more powerful than what the Lasko offers. It’s also worth mentioning that the Lasko oscillates over a 45° spread, while the Dreo has a 90° oscillation. So overall, the Dreo is going to move air over a larger area, but ultimately it seems like this difference is going to come down to a matter of preference. Noise The noise level of both fans is pretty comparable, with the Dreo being noticeably quieter at lower speeds. From three feet away, at speed 1, the Dreo registers at a whisper quiet 34 dB, while the Lasko is 44 dB. You have to get the Dreo up to speed 3 to hit 44 dB, and at that speed, the Lasko only goes up to 47 dB. Basically ,the Lasko doesn’t add much more noise at the different speeds. The Dreo does have that extra speed 4 that cranks up the noise a bit with the wind speed. At speed 4, the Dreo runs at 48 dB. The Dreo has an extra feature that Lasko is lacking. You can mute the button sounds. This is handy if you want to make adjustments without interrupting the quiet. Design The design of these two fans is similar, but also so markedly different that it’s hard not to remark on it. Lasko, as with many of their products, has opted for a functional, utilitarian design that gets the job done. It doesn’t look particularly bad, but it’s not great either. The light indicators let you know what your settings are, but they're just dots of lights next to numbers. In the case of the sleep timer, they even require you to do math to know what the timer is set on. And the numbers you’re looking at are printed on the fan, not backlit. So you’re going to have to turn on the light to check your settings if you’re in a dark room. The Dreo, on the other hand, looks like a work of modern art, with its all black design, and the big LED screen. You won’t have any problem knowing what speed the fan is set to or what the sleep timer is set on. No moving closer to inspect tiny numbers printed on the casing. The design differences carry through to the remotes. The Lasko remote is functional, if unsightly, while the Dreo is beautiful and sleek (and the Dreo remote also comes with a battery; the Lasko doesn’t). Ease of Use To be honest, any fan is pretty dead simple to use, but some are easier than others. In the case of these two, the Lasko comes with fairly simple instructions: push the power button to turn on, adjust the speed, etc. The Dreo has similarly simple instructions, but also has some additional options (mute, auto mode, natural mode, etc.). Also, the Dreo instructions are delivered in a much more appealing and professionally polished package, which I can’t ignore. Providing an instruction booklet like this sends a message to your customers that you take their experience seriously. One feature of the Dreo that isn’t included in the instructions is the easy to remove and clean back panel. If you’ve ever run a fan for any amount of time, you know that you’ll be dealing with dust buildup. With the one screw panel removal, the Dreo makes that much simpler. The back panel on the Lasko looks like you’ll have to remove six screws, but I’m not sure if it’s really designed to remove and clean. Conclusion Choosing from a wide selection of very similar products can be daunting at the best of times. For something like a tower fan, there’s really just not that much to the hardware to differentiate one from the other, but Dreo does manage to bring a more compelling product to the market. With quieter operation, a large and bright LED display, more features, a more appealing design, and a better user experience, the Dreo 36” tower fan really does offer a better product than the Lasko 2511. And you’ll pay $10 more for that difference, as the Lasko only costs 59.99, while the Dreo retails for 69.99. Whether or not the upgrades are worth the extra expense is really up to you, but for a product that will last for years to come, my money is on Dreo.
