The motor had stopped turning in my Beko tumble dryer due to the smaller drum capacitor. I also tested the compressor capacitor which was only reading 16uF rather than 25uF.I bought this as a preventative measure, and although this is plastic cased rather than metal like the OEM and its slightly larger but still screwed into the fitting fine. It was reading a respectable 25.28uF and works perfectly well.

i used this capacitor to repair a 25 yr old air compressor. was a quick fix an has extended the life of my small air compressor. If this capacitor last as long as the old one , it will probably out live me. Still working after about a year

Had an Alko shredder which would rotate either the right or wrong way ,the new capacitor didn't exactly fit where the old one was but cost much less and plenty of room to fit .Works perfectly now .

I am not an electrical engineer - so don't take my advice! The power washer was humming a little when powered on but not actually starting. I replaced the existing 20uf capacitor with one of these 25uf ones Where the existing one was loose in the housing, this one was slightly larger and a better fit without being tight. The best analogy I can think of is that these capacitors are like starter motors in a car and help to start the motor spinning.

There's plenty of cheap 25/70/21 rated capacitors on the market which is what I received. The one advertised was rated as 25/85/21. The 85DegC is the important factor and does make a big difference to component life expectancy and why I ordered here to replace the same spec. Will install to get going and replaced asap to avoid early failure.

Replacement for original for a very old Karcher 520M Pressure Washer.The washer was humming from switching it on from first use over winter. Given its age I thought it had finally given up and therefore had nothing to lose in taking it apart.There are plenty of Youtube videos on how to test capacitors with a multimeter to see if it is still working and how to ensure you order a correct replacement. They all tend to be the same girth and therefore you just have to make sure that about the length. The one purchased was slightly shorter than the original and although i probably didn't need to, with double sided tape I managed to fix it to stop it rattling.The Karcher was easy to take apart and the capacitor swap out is just two connector leads and easy to do for a DIYer.

It arrived quickly, fortunately it was the same diameter as the item it was replacing, so it fitted without a problem, (although it would have helped to have the polarity of the tags marked). It has worked just fine, and I am hoping for a long life from it, otherwise it will be a classic case of, buy cheap, buy twice. The saving 80% on the manufacturers price, made it was a chance I was willing to take.

Did not work for my 110v belle mixer, unsure as to why people have left reviews saying it works when it does not....
