The Magic Drawers

A beautifully designed puzzle with great craftsmanship. There are a few scratches of some unfinished sections on the inner workings, but it was a very fun solve. I would recommend and even repurchase.

There is no room for money or gifts inside this puzzle, but you CAN label each of the four "drawers" with a different number hidden inside. I used two digit numbers beginning with a 1,2,3, and 4 followed by a random digit from 5 to 9. I labeled them inside on the largest flat surface that can only be seen when the drawer is completely removed. My "victim" had to take out all four drawers to write down the four two-digit numbers. Then he had to put the puzzle back together again and give it to me along with the list of numbers he had found inside in order to receive a "treasure map" leading him all around the house and grounds to finally get the gift. You could also use three letter words like "CAT, ATE, THE, RAT" and the victim would have to collect those from inside the puzzle before shutting it back up. This was a lot of fun both for me and for my "victim" who had to really struggle to collect his birthday gift this year. THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX!

I was looking for a desk toy to give a retiring coworker. It looked neat, so I got one for myself as well. It's pretty fun to play with, and it looks nice. Due to the item's name "Drawers," I thought I would be able to hide something small inside of it, but that is not the case. It's not too complicated to take apart. However, unless you remember how it goes back together again, it will be tough to put back together! I would say it's a decent value for the price.

when i ordered this, i was not expecting it to be a brain killer. let me explain, it was almost imposible to figure out how to take out the blocks, i doubt that anyone under 11 can solve this. and i was thinking that taking them out was hard, puting them back together is harder, i ordered this over a year ago and i still havent been able to put them back together correctly, right now the are in my room, untouched and impossible. there is one way to put it together and thats the way you got it. any other way will be to easy to get them out. i recommend you DONT get this unless you are some sort of genius.

A very challenging puzzle for me, especially Since my Wife took it apart, and I had no clue how to put it back. It took me quite some time, but finally solved it. I highly recommend it!

Got a kick out of watching my co-worker try to get the drawers back in. She thought getting them out was the easy part! Awesome product, good quality, and very aggravating! Everything I wanted.

if you read the product description and expect to get what it says, you'll be rather disappointed. it is a puzzle with no functional drawers or any space to put anything inside it at all. I was hoping to find a puzzle box to use to propose to my girlfriend with, however this has left me with no such thing. on the other hand, at least I have a new toy to play with.

The directions suck. And that's just the way it goes. I took it apart trying to carefully keep it the way it was so I could see how to put it back together but I dropped it and everything feel out of place. I am so frustrated trying to put this thing back together. Anything that does that Is doing it's job. Awesome box
