Q: The game shows 1-6 players but there are 7 of us! Is it still possible to play with 7?

It doesn't really matter how many you play with to be honest. However, there may not be enough for you all to do. You also might struggle with everyone being able to see everything and getting involved. We play with just 2 of us and that works great. They are great games though, I would highly recommend!

Q: is there a replay value in this game? or are the puzzles the same each time?

Think of this like a book: once you've played it, it's played. Indeed, if you don't do a bit of work before solving the game, you can't pass it on to someone else as you will be marking and cutting the original parts. However, it's still an excellent set of puzzles that take a reasonable amount of time to solve, unless you take the clues too soon or otherwise cheat. After playing this, I went on to get the other two, so make of that what you will.

Q: I want to give this as a gift - would it lessen their enjoyment if they haven't done the first Abandoned Cabin?

I don't think so, if they have done more of the exit games they all merge in and would be difficult to remember. We haven't played it as yet.
