A fantastic book! The technical details described in this book absolutely blew me away. Its hard to believe that these tiny minatures could look so lifelike! A must buy for anyone interested in minatures, or anyone who fancies trying their hand at it. Highly reccomended

Easy to follow!! Great introduction to minatures

Ich besitze 2 Bücher, mit deren Hilfe auch Lebensmittel in Mini hergestellt werden können. Dieses hier ist aber das Beste! Hier finde ich all die Lebensmittel, die in Premiumqualität als Fertigware (und deshalb sehr teuer) auf dem aktuellem Markt angeboten werden: Brokkoli mit einzelnen Blütenknospen, halbe Kokosnüsse mit Haaren, Eiskugeln mit angedeutetem Schmelz und Brotscheiben mit authentischem Innenleben (Krume/Brotwatte). Sie kennen die angebissenen Melonenstücke im Verkauf? Hier finden Sie die Herstellungsanleitung dafür! Die Bilder sehen genauso aus wie die Präsentationsbilder der Verkaufsware. Auch die Pancakes mit Blaubeersoße finden Sie hier und vieles (überraschende!) mehr. Natürlich gibt es das Buch nur in Englisch. Der Text beschränkt sich aber auf das Notwendigste bei Materialbedarf und Arbeitserklärung zu jedem einzelnen Foto. Die Fotos sind groß und es gibt sehr viele - und diese sind wirklich (überwiegend) selbsterklärend. Ich kann nur leidlich Englisch sprechen und deshalb nur sehr anspruchslose Gespräche führen. Das (und eine Vokabelübersetzung) reicht aber aus, um die Texte zu verstehen. Das Buch gibt es in DIN A4 und ist strukturiert aufgebaut. Es ist sozusagen "aufgeräumt" und verwirrt optisch nicht. Mir macht es große Freude, darin zu blättern und zu sehen wie authentisch das Ergebnis sein kann. Lynn Allingham ist wirklich eine wahre Artisan!
