Saved me thousands!
I have alignment issues and I need to get spinal decompression frequently. It’s expensive so I am so glad I found this. It gives me the same relief but for way less money and less time spent. My hips and back have never felt so even and my back pain is 70-80% better in between adjustments which I only need once a month now. I highly recommend this to anyone who has done spinal decompression before from a professional provider and needs something to use at home so you can go to the chiropractor less. Definitely talk to your doctor first about using this device, my doctor thought it was a OK to use but advised me on proper use. The price is a little high for what it is, basically just a few straps and some bungee cords in between, nothing special but it works and it doesn’t take up a lot of space. I’ve used other in home decompression devices, like the ones that use air to pump them up, I feel like I get the same relief and it’s much easier and quicker to get to the resistance level you need without pumping until your blue in the face. I’ve worked up to the point where I can put a lot of resistance on without issues and this strap is perfect for that, just move your body back more and instant tension is added. This product should still be used with caution and definitely take it easy at first, I had a muscle spasm because I over stretched and caused my hip to go out of alignment the opposite way of my normal misalignment (right leg is always shorter, I stretched so much that the right side was slightly longer than the left after just a few uses, that’s how powerful this strap is), which I didn’t realize was causing the muscles on the other side of my back that are normally smaller and weaker because they aren’t used as much as the other side. But now I can feel them being engaged a lot more. Now after about 6 weeks of stretching every day and doing decompression 2-3 times a week, and also using a leg pillow when I sleep—my back feels a lot stronger than it was before, even when I was getting weekly adjustments and 20 min a week of decompression at the chiropractors office, this strap really made the difference. From my experience I feel like I could have achieved the same results by taking it a little slower and not causing the muscle pull/spasm.. If you’re hesitant on the price I was also at first but ended up happy with my purchase because of the effectiveness, the bungee cords create the rubber band like resistance but also the stability of a strap, so it makes sense, it’s well designed and would be hard to try to create your own DIY version, that sounds dangerous anyways, so save yourself the pain and headache of constant back pain and buy this product, you’ll be glad you did!

Really only works for lumbar area
Works reasonably well for lumbar region. I don't notice any traction in sacral region and very little in thoracic. Easy to set up and use, however I am not able to blow up the supports fully due to the valve size. The hole is too big for any of the pumps I have, too big to do it by mouth and difficult to plug without losing air. It is very compact and portable so I can take it with if I have to leave home. The box it comes in measures 8" x 10" x 4". Though it is a bit pricey, it's worth the money considering the other way is to pay for a therapist or chiropractor to apply traction manually. For a DIY traction device for home it's pretty good.

I did the 21 day challenge!
It is the night of the 21st day and I have to say that 21 days ago my back was in so much pain. I couldn't sleep, walk around, work, and many other things without experiencing a small grindy type feeling and a pain sensation in my lower back. I used to hang on a pull-up bar everyday and keep most of the pain at Bay. I own an inversion table, a spine / back thing you lay on, and I used to own this thing that you would push against your legs while lying down that was made of steel and looked like a bicycle handle. Nothing ever worked to where I could say that there wasn't this small sensation in my back. Now I am happy to say that my back pain is gone and I finally have the freedom to sleep throughout the entire night and wake up without any pain whatsoever. A lot of people have only back pain when they're awake and I had it when I was asleep and awake. This pain would cause me to never go into deep sleep and all I would do is just dream and wake up and so I was exhausted all the time. When I was young I landed directly on my coccyx bone and I'm not sure if that is the reason my back hurts so much or why I have had these issues but it sure seems that that was probably it. I never used the wedge that is offered. I would just stretch it about as far as it would go until it was trying to pull me across the floor, in this case a mat, and then I would lay back and point my toes directly towards the ceiling. Sometimes I cross my legs a little bit where my toes are and I would switch in between and then to release the tension to allow fluid to go into the spine I would use both hands to pull on the harness rather than using the cord that is provided. Sometimes I even would help the tension by pushing on the harness towards the door so I would get a stronger pull. When I first bought this thing I did it once or twice a week and it seemed to provide somewhat of a difference but eventually I kind of gave up. When the pain got worse though I decided to look on YouTube to see if I was doing something wrong or if there was a better way to use it and I found out that you can't just do it once or twice a week it's got to be consecutive daily and you have to do the 21 Day challenge to really get the full benefit. This is part of my regimen now so even though the 21 days is up I'm going to continue this because I have never felt this much relief A lot of strength training and weightlifting require a spinal decompression by means of hanging on a pull-up bar and I used to do it all the time but now that I've realized that there's only so far you can get from the pull-up bar, because the hang tenses up specific muscles and prevents you from getting a full stretch, I am going to use this everyday until I have to buy a new one because the bands will give eventually. Thank you for this wonderful product because now I'm able to do the work that I need to do and I can sleep through the night.

Absurdly overpriced
This might work for certain issues, but mine is at my L5-S1 disc (very low back), and I could not get the angle right no matter what I tried (yoga blocks, pillow, etc). It would feel good for a moment then it would start to feeling like it was pinching at the wrong angle. REGARDLESS - I am floored by the price of this thing. It’s literally a strap and 2 pillows you have to blow up. I cannot believe they have the nerve to charge almost $200 for this.

Good Product, But Terrible Service
Great concept, good implementation, but TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I snapped one of the elastic bands/tubes TWICE. The first time they pointed me to a way to fix it myself, which wasn't too hard, but then THE SAME BAND BROKE AGAIN. When i contacted customer service again they ignored me. I had to seek out surgical tubing to replace their defective parts. They least they could've done was offer me replacement parts, but they IGNORED MY EMAILS. Because of their poor customer service I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

Works great
Fix my bag after a few uses. I tried to use it a couple of times a week. Even turn around and use it to stretch my neck.

Didn't help disc bulge in my lower back
I followed the instructions and recommendations to use consistently for at least 15 minutes at the same schedule for 30 days in a row. Although it provided a good stretch for my upper and mid-back, it did not help my bulging disc in my lower back (L5 S1). Each night I alternated between the pattern of stretching/decompressing (5-10 minutes) and releasing (1 minute), but over 30 days I still experienced the same amount of pain in the lower back. I am very flexible, so after each session I would bend over and wrap my arms around my legs to see if anything would release. Each time my mid-back would crack (which is a great indication of fluid movement and pressure release), but nothing would crack or open up on the lower end. I had really hoped this equipment would work because it is convenient and affordable compared to physical therapy and the chiropractor, but since it didn't I returned it.

Excellent at-home device for back pain and sciatica.
As a performing musician my back often hurts badly after a weekend of performing-while-standing or transporting heavy sound equipment. I also suffered a round of sciatic pain at one point. While I addressed the initial problems with official physical therapy sessions and a therapist’s professional traction table which worked wonders, this at-home device has kept me from needing to revisit the physical therapist again. I use it after every performance and whenever I feel the onset of back pain. It works well. While its effects are not as profound as the therapist’s rack, this device works about as well as I could imagine a home device would. Five stars.
