The WC Bowl I have is a ROCA Giralda soft close seat. The bowl I have does NOT have underside access. Is this seat ok to use? tks

Yes this seat is useable as the hinges are top fitting, so no underside access is required. However, whenfitting the hinge housing lugs into WC I would suggest you tighten considerably more than instructions call forotherwise when seat is fitted to housing lungs it will feel loose so, simply do more 360 degree rotations withlug fitting key.

Is the roca giralda soft close replacment seat compatible with the roca dama original wc?

You have to have the toilet to fit the seat our original seat lasted 12years expensive but well worth the money

Are the hinges on this seat the new chrome on brass type or the old chrome on plastic type.

The original Giralda hinges are chrome on metal and it is an extremely good soft close hinge. I have recently purchased seat with hinges and they are probable the best I have seen albeit, quite large.
