I purchased this Sluice Fox gold panning kit for my friend as a Christmas gift, and it was a huge hit! He's an avid prospector, and he absolutely loves this kit. He's been using it quite often and says it's incredibly well-designed and effective. The kit comes with everything you need to get started, and the quality of each piece is top-notch. It's clear that a lot of thought went into creating a comprehensive and user-friendly kit. The portable sluice is just that…portable! Easily throw it in the provided bag and keep it for whenever your out walking around by a creek or river. . This is an excellent product for both beginners and experienced prospectors. I am thinking about ordering one for myself and also contemplating on purchasing their portable sluice box.

A almost perfect kit, it has everything one might need to find metals or minerals, the pans are a softer plastic than brittle abs is. My guess is of a polyethylene variety? The inside of the pan's are well engineered to trap different particulate sizes or gauges. The mini sluice is, well mini. 😁 it's about 12"×4"×1.24", big enough to test, small enough to carry many miles up river and test the soils. The rock screed would appear that it's green abs or similar plastic, it's square and it doesn't really fit this kit, however it's functional. As are the other parts of this kit, okay ish, however accessories are just that a bonus. I bought this kit for their pan's and their mini sluice, as they are some of the Best designs out there. A polyethylene stackable screed{ one that nests within the supplied pans}, and a tougher sewn vinyl nylon bag at a higher price range would make sense. Overall very good starter kit from young to old.

Very good for its price

it was nice, but one day i forgot it on my porch after coming home and one of my neighbors stole it, and they wonder why i treat them like crooks.

Perfect for beginners

Transported the entire kit across country on a plane from Florida to Washington state. Did some gold panning with the family and had an incredible time!! LOTS OF FUN!! Kit was compact, and easy to use!! We actually found real gold!! Thanks for great family memories

Smaller then expected.

I ordered the black version of this kit, and it came in green, and is missing the mini sluice and classifier. Update: 10/01/2025. The seller did reach out to me a few weeks ago to make things right. They also offered a $10 credit for the inconvenience. I had already requested a return & had a replacement ship. The replacement kit came complete and the correct color. As far as the actual product itself goes, the kit is good, no complains, would recommend for the money.
