Great Protector for my A6300 & Great Company to Do Business With
Expert Shield *Lifetime Guarantee* - THE Screen Protector for: (Sony A6300 / A6000 Crystal Clear)I purchased this screen protector on June 28 for my brand new Sony A6300. On inspection when it arrived, it appeared to be a high-quality product. Knowing from past experience over the years with other screen protectors for numerous devices, I also know that part (most?) of the problems with these items are due to 'operator error' in installing. So I read the online instructions thoroughly (very enjoyable reading, btw) and watched the videos. After installation (and I should note that the fit and finish of this protector on the A6300 was perfect), I sent the note below to Expert Shield's in response to their unsolicited post-purchase email to me reminding me of their 'satisfaction guaranteed' warranty and asking how things were going:Dear Expert Shield folks-It was with high hopes and expectations for success that I slit open the package of my Expert Shield screen protector for my new A6300 Sony camera. I had read the instructions on your website multiple times, viewed the instruction videos multiple times, read the reviews (tips and hints) on Amazon, watched your videos (in full screen mode) on installation and bubbles. I lined out my painters tape, alcohol and lens cloth, an assortment of paperback books to support my camera at just the right position, and took a long shower to thoroughly humidify my operating theater. I stepped from the shower ready for surgery.I cleaned, taped, created hinges, aligned, and practised. Then, just as I was ready to peel back the first protector, I realised I had everything upside down. Whew! Thanks to thorough preparation and attention to detail, I caught my potential colossal error in time and swapped my tape hinges and prepped again for the delicate procedure.I peeled off the bottom tab and the protector lay down perfectly aligned. I squeegeed any bubbles and removed and discarded the top tab. With high expectations, I inspected my work.It was perfect! I couldn't tell there was a protector on the screen! After multiple times trying to install protectors on gps units, phones, android and windows tablets, etc, all leading to less-than-completely-satisfying results, this was like a miracle. I di one final gentle clean with an alcohol-moistened lens cleaning cloth and retired to bed to close out the relevant tabs still open on my laptop's browser. I watched the videos and read everything again one last time, and then I got the sinking feeling that maybe I should go check the dustbin in the bathroom and inspect the two sheets I had disposed of (I can be kind of OCD that way), but, to my horror, there it was: the protector still attached to the sheet with Tab 2, a big bubble in the middle and a crinkle, wounds suffered during its sojourn to the trashbin. I carefully laid it aside, tried to go to sleep, but could not until I got up and started over to try to get at least some protection (if not gloriously spiffy and accurate, so good-you-can't-hardly tell it's there protection) on the back of my camera. I did, it's there, it's amazingly good considering the detour to the trashbin, but it is a bit rough around the edges, if you will, with a couple of small (albeit disturbing) bubbles. All in all, it's actually a testament to the quality of the product, despite the ineptness of the installer, that it looks as good as it does.I can make it work. I can live with it. In time, my eyes will probably not jump to those defects first thing. But it just ain't right. As I had closed those tabs on Chrome before laying down and realising that I needed to get up and check for evidence of my mistake, I noticed the closing line of your page on bubble removal: "...if you get in touch with the company you bought it from, maybe they’d be nice enough to sort a replacement for you to start again fresh. Sure, like that’ll ever happen…" Is that what I'm doing? Maybe so...In any case, I really appreciate the quality of your product, your detailed (and enjoyable) instructions, and your business ethic. Many thanks. What happened? Within two hours I got a response back from Expert Shield thanking me for my response and offering to ship out a replacement free of charge. Everything that I have seen (the quality of the protector), read (the thorough and helpful instructions/videos), and experienced (the stellar customer service) leads me to a five-star review for the product and the company. You just cannot go wrong doing business with these folks!

Nice Product
Wanted something to protect the screen to my A6000 that I just picked up as it does not have a fully articulating screen like my previous Panasonic fz-200.This product was fairly easy to install and if you've had any experience installing your own cell phone protectors this shouldn't be a problem. Instructions are included on the packaging. The screen protector doesn't interfere or degrade the screen at all. Its basically invisible.Unsure on protection level but I'm fairly confident it will protect the screen from any minor scratches and dings. The only problem I have with this is that its cut just a fraction too wide. So what happens is that one side or the other just has a little bit of air underneath. The top and bottom are fine.I would recommend the manufacturer cut it a half a millimeter narrower for easier installation.

Piece of Cake
Installation was easy.Short Version:* clean display* peel back first protective layer of screen protector* place screen protector on the display* squeegee out the air bubbles with a credit card wrapped in the provided cleaning cloth* peel off the second/opposite protective layer of screen protectorLong Version:* practice without peeling any of the backing from the screen protector** I just laid it down, and picked the left edge as a reference point, making a mental note of how far from the edge, and how much gap to leave at the top to "center" the screen protector vertically.** be sure to practice how you'll hold the screen protector, and the display. I place my left pinky and thumb on the left edge of the display to steady things.* clean hands (especially the fingertips)* clean the display with the provided cloth* peel away the first backing layer (remember your mental image of where to place the screen protector)* start at the left edge of the display, and align the screen protector as you practiced* slowly lower the screen protector to the right* as it makes contact with the display, use your left index finger to follow along, and slide/press down on the screen protector IN THE MIDDLE (this is roughly how I hang wallpaper)* use a credit card wrapped in the provided cleaning cloth to push out any air bubbles* celebrateDespite all my planning + preparation, I trapped an eyelash between the screen protector and the display. I followed the instructions, and used a piece of regular old office tape, taped it to the screen protector (which still had the second/opposite protective layer on), and peeled the screen protector back. I only peeled far enough to expose the lash, keeping enough of the screen protector in contact with the display so I wouldn't have to mess with repositioning it. I used a second piece of tape to remove the eyelash, then lowered the screen protector, and all was well.Once it's on, it's hard to tell that you have something covering the display. It's clear, and I haven't noticed any increase in glare... there's definitely no *decrease* in glare, but they never promised that so I'm ok.I usually walk around at festivals with my camera on one of those rapid strap clones, so I like the piece of mind of knowing that the display will be protected against minor bumps.

Do not buy this piece of junk
I own a number of cameras, and have applied protective coverings to about half of them. Expert shield was one of the worst protective coverings I have purchased so far. First off, it came bent in the package. I don't know where it occurred (factory? shipping?) but the packaging does not protect the shield correctly. One corner was so bent, that when I went to install the shield it would not adhere at the corner. The product does not apply evenly. There were air bubbles under the shield that could not be pushed out. So now I see bubbles in my viewfinder. Really annoying. And worst of all, the shield also scratches really easily. So now I see bubbles and scratches. What a piece of junk.
