My husband uses berberine every day for a medical issue he has. So when we saw the Type ZeroClean Berberine HCL Dietary Supplement, we thought we would give this brand a try.The Type Zero Clean Berberine HCL Dietary Supplement says it is sugar free, gluten free, nut free, non-GMO, and third party tested. The bottle provides Type Zero Health's address, email and website, along with a lot number and expiration date. There is also a message from the creater that contains his personal email address. Furthermore, the bottle was sealed above and underneath the cap upon arrival. These are all things I look for when I am choosing a supplement.Each vegetable capsule contains 600 milligrams of Berberine HCL and the suggested daily dose is 2 capsules. There are a total of 60 capsules in the bottle, so you receive a thirty day supply. Upon opening the bottle, there was no smell. As is the case with veggie caps, there is no decernable taste. But also, it is easy for them to get stuck in your throat. So be mindful of this if you have difficulty swallowing pills or if you have swallowing issues.There were no adverse affects from using the Type Zero Clean Berberine HCL Dietary Supplement and they functioned as expected. Overall, if the benefits of Berberine would be helpful to you, I would suggest you give these a try. We were quite pleased with our results and will continue to use them.

These are extra large capsules.. I choked on it twice. It stuck in my throat sideways...very scarey. Tried emptying contents of capsule into a little mashed potatoes... very bitter. Just not a good fit for me.

Do not buy!They don’t accept returns and I personally didn’t like the quality. Despite showing all the ingredients but it upsets the stomach in a way I never experienced with any other products.

I like that there's no additional items in this Berberine supplement. I'm taking this for blood glucose level control and the addition of other stuff tends to mess with my chemistry a bit. This Type Zero is just the thing I needed.It comes sealed and dated and the capsules are easy to swallow with water. They are the sticky kind that are hard to dry swallow. I take them one at a time to keep from having that ghost pill feeling in my throat.

This is an over the counter supplement, one month supply, reasonably priced but not the least expensive berberine product on the market. The capsules are yellow with a slightly acrid taste, but not difficult to swallow with water or soft foods. I haven’t experienced any gastrointestinal side effects.There are 60 capsules of 600 mg each, recommended dose is two capsules a day for 1200 mg per day, one month supply.Any person with diabetes mellitus or pre-diabetes should only consider taking this under the supervision of their doctor or health care provider. Without health care supervision, this supplement could lead to hypoglycemia if taken with diabetic medications without adjustment, and it could be associated with hyperglycemia if diabetic medications are stopped or reduced without supervision. For type 1 diabetics, this is absolutely not a substitute for insulin. Stopping insulin in type 1 diabetics may quickly lead to life threatening diabetic ketoacidosis. So take care and talk with your doctor. All that said, this is a great supplement at a good price. For appropriate persons with appropriate monitoring and guidance, I think it is very good.

I was/am pre diabetic and wanted to use berberine to help with the blood sugars. When I started using it I also made a number of other changes such as cutting added sugars from my coffee/tea and any savory items. My goal has been using this for short term to get things under control and then focus on healthy nutrition once I am at a healthy level. Having laid out the context, I cannot say in terms of numbers how well it has worked so far as I haven't gotten any lab work done plus as I mentioned I made other changes around the same time. I do slightly feel better but it's too soon to isolate it as a cause effect relation. For now due to good quality, third party tested and having no adverse reaction I think it's a five star product. Will update once I have used it for longer.
