10Gtek® 10Gb PCI-E NIC Network Card for Intel X520-DA2, Intel 82599ES Controller, Dual SFP+ Port, PCI Express Ethernet LAN Adapter, Windows Server/Linux/VMware

Really impressed with this 10Gtek 10GbE dual port NIC and it's working perfectly in Windows 10. I've installed a couple of 10Gbe SFP+ modules and connected via fiber patch leads to my network and have had absolutely 0 issues. The card is a PCI Express x8 card so make sure you have a suitable slot available to plug it into. For Intel based systems some of your slots may not be directly attached to your CPU and will be limited by your chipset. I've installed the card into an x16 slot which I know will have dedicated PCI lanes and offer the best performance. The card comes in a plain cardboard box with a driver DVD and small form factor back plate. I also highly recommend downloading and installing the latest Intel drivers to leverage the full capabilities of this card (such as VLANs and Teaming etc.)

Using this as a 10GB NIC on a Windows 11 PC. Once installed, you must download the drivers from 10Gtek's website. Works well and good value for money.

Had trouble at first as this is a HBA type of card instead of a straight NIC. Found a slot that worked though. Very fast with lots of options. Auto detected in windows 10 and installed the drivers automagically. Not a typo :) I went to the Intel website and used those driver. Just a minor face change to the settings on device manager. This card is ace. Great price. Just get it. Though, if you've had issues with HBA cards before then be careful as it might not work for you. For example, I have a sata card that I just can't get working in this PC. It worked in my old machine. I think most pcie slots expect simple devices. This card is quite complex. If in doubt, but the more expensive simple NIC type cards.

I just plugged it in and it worked out of the box.

Excellent card, great compatibility. 10Gtek were brilliant when I encountered issues (which turned out to be settings on my switch). Great company, would definitely buy from them again.

These are super cards. Highly recommended.

If the drivers wont install what is the point of selling the card. I have tried the drivers linked to by the manufacturer web site, tried downloading set up files and tried with the windows device manager. What a waste of money. The customer support tried to suggest I use a fiber module which is a waste of time as use copper. Pay a bit more and get a more reliable card from a company with better support.

Needs a bit of work to install to Win 11 but the Support video is Clear and Precise. Maxed out the Sequential speeds 1200+ MB/s. That good I bought another. Bargain...

Worked great for a dual 10G connection from my server to a UniFi switch. True plug-and-play on my Linux build. Much more affordable than the local retail options and the build quality is top-notch. Highly recommend for any home lab or server upgrade.

Works good with opnsense now, its supported from kernel. No problems. Just ordered another one for my 2nd fiber link. It will have almost same kind of opnsense server than my 1st fiber link. This nic is factory unlocked.

J’ai installé cette carte réseau 10 Gb dans mon PC sous Windows 11 afin de profiter pleinement de ma connexion fibre et de mon installation réseau en 10G. La carte est arrivée en très bon état, bien protégée, sans défaut visible, et la qualité de fabrication inspire confiance dès le déballage. L’installation s’est bien passée. Windows ne l’a pas reconnue automatiquement au début, mais après l’installation du pilote Intel adapté, la carte a été parfaitement détectée comme une Intel 82599 10 Gigabit Dual Port Network Connection. La liaison réseau est bien reconnue en 10/10 Gbps, donc le lien 10 Gb est parfaitement actif. J’ai effectué plusieurs tests de débit avant/après, et les résultats sont très concluants. Avant l’installation de cette carte, j’étais autour de 2,38 Gb/s en téléchargement et 2,41 Gb/s en envoi sur nPerf. Après installation de la carte, je suis monté à environ 6,67 Gb/s en téléchargement et 5,98 Gb/s en envoi, avec un ping stable autour de 12 ms. Le gain est donc énorme, surtout pour une connexion fibre haut débit et un réseau compatible 10G. La carte fonctionne très bien avec un câble SFP+/10G et permet clairement de dépasser les limites d’une carte réseau classique en 1G ou même 2,5G. Elle est stable, le débit est très bon, et elle ne m’a posé aucun problème une fois le bon pilote installé. Points positifs : Très bonne qualité de fabrication Carte livrée en excellent état Détection correcte après installation du pilote Intel Liaison bien reconnue en 10 Gb/s Débits largement supérieurs à mon ancienne connexion 2,5G Très bon rapport qualité/prix pour passer son PC en 10G Idéale pour une Freebox Ultra, un switch 10G ou une installation réseau rapide Petit point à savoir : il faut parfois installer manuellement le pilote Intel pour que Windows reconnaisse correctement la carte. Ce n’est pas vraiment un défaut de la carte, mais plutôt une étape à prévoir. En conclusion, je suis très satisfait de cette carte réseau. Les tests sont concluants, les performances sont au rendez-vous, et la carte fait exactement ce qu’on lui demande. Je recommande sans hésiter pour ceux qui veulent passer leur PC en 10 Gb/s.
