So hear me out, I don’t use them for ice but rather resin. I don’t recommend using the whole set up in this case as the resin will seep down and I had a LOT of clean up the 1 time I tried. I make my flat back skulls with crystals and other inclusions. Some are turned into necklaces others incorporated into healing kits with tumbled stones. Regardless how I use them they always come out so beautiful! Oceans are stunning inside one of these adorable lil guys!

So far I've used this with mozzarella, chocolate, and a carrageenan jelly. It worked great for each! I didn't have anything good to pipe the chocolate in with, so I think I had to fill both sides (insert a nut for a brain!), and put the halves together and chill. The carrageenan was easier, but not what expected. It's like Jello and liquid when hot. I used a dropper to drop it into the holes, but I kept thinking the liquid was going down and must have been spreading. I only filled three. I put as much as I had patience for, and chilled. Surprisingly, all 4 skulls were filled! They looked great and whole, too! I'm using this past Halloween because my husband likes skulls and they're fun to use.

Got these for a Halloween party we were having. Overall, then worked great...came with a little funnel to help filling them...and the skull ice cubes were great and a bit hit. They also come out of the mold with modest effort. The one elements which is of note, is that the silicon top mold tends to float when you add water. This is both good and bad. Good in the fact that it allows you to fill all of the 4 skulls in a mode from just one of the funnel ports (instead of filling them all individually). This is bad, as if you don't notice it while filling it...you will have too much water and when you press down on the top mold half to put it back where it should be....water will come out of the holes and fill the cavity of the mold. This also means that you will have a bit of extra ice kinda connecting them when you go to unmold...which if you worked to keep the top close to the bottom..should just be a small sheet which easily breaks away from the skulls.

Who doesn’t want little skull ice cubes? They’re fun, easy to use, and the silicone molding feels solid. The ice looks as it should and the mold feels durable.

Nice shape but very small. The measurement of 1.9 inches must be from top of head to bottom tip. I was expecting something larger for me to use when making Old Fashions and other drinks on the rocks.

FUN FUN FUN. Although this is an ice cube mold, I had no trouble turning it into a mozzarella balls skulls mold for a fun topping on my Halloween salad. They turned out great. Fast, simple, easy and clean. Appear very durable. Will also use for ice cubes.

These are super cool. 2 comes with 1 purchase. They also give you these mini-funnels to easily put in water. However, the skull sizes are pretty small. So, if you are drinking out of a tall glass and put in 4 of these, they might just end up floating at the top of your glass. So, I would recommend using all 8 cubes at once when using a tall glass. Otherwise, like I said, super cool! You can see the facial details of the skull very clearly. One thing that I don't particularly like, but is not a huge deal, is that the top and bottom rubber pieces don't close together. Thus, if I am adding water to one of the skulls, it also gets added to the other 3 skulls. When you take out the ice, the skulls are not perfect skulls, but look like they are in a frame, and you have to kind of chip off those ends around it. But, like I said it is not a huge deal. I just have a set of rubber ice tray which doesn't have this problem, so it is just an area of improvement they could consider.

Little smaller than i thought. Yet still perfect. These are about 3 cm tall. Great for the smaller glasses and the kids. Definitely recommend. They are great.

I like that the mold was easy to use and the ice cube skulls froze quickly. There was no problem unmolding the ice cube skulls.
