These bits work well in metal or wood and, as the steps are marked in millimetres, accurately drill or enlarge holes. Great quality!

Absolutely brilliant little drill bits. My house is made from steel so didn't have much confidence these would work. How wrong was I, they drilled through my steel walls with easy. I'm one happy customer 😁

bit beautifully on an impact driver or drill. and the hole sizes are accurate enough. the metal isn't very hard though and on stainless steel it wore the bit sharpness down quickly. hence not very durable on stainless but should be better on mild steel, brass, copper aluminium or plastics etc.. decent for the price though and does the job

Last set has lasted nearly 2 years. I just used them to put 6 6mm holes in 5mm thick steel, cut through it like butter and that's after I've been using them for 2 years. Only just need to buy replacement due to snapping a drill bit on the same steel. Couldn't believe the difference in speed between these and the normal HSS drill bits, I won't use anything else for metal going forwards (unless I need a 5mm hole lol). The elongated hole is the one that had the snapped drill bit in, it took me ages to get it out so ignore that. Only tool used here was the stepper bits

Burn out very quick and become dull

Bought these skeptical — cheap step bits usually disappoint. These didn't. Sharp, sturdy, and the 4-32mm handles everything I throw at it. My old set is now officially retired. Solid buy.
