Just keep each set of screws separated as you take the appliance apart and it will go together much easier without having to guess which screws to use next. Very simple procedure, but you need to be careful not to cut your hands on the very sharp metal heating element housing. Work slowly and methodically and it is a simple procedure the average person can handle. It was obvious that I needed a heating element when I pulled the old unit apart. The main plate had broken, as well as the coil. When I started the dryer up for the first time after repairing it, there was a very acrid electrical odor from the heating element's initial heating.
