Since the launch of their own stick line in 1990, Vater has quickly become one of the top stick manufacturers in the world today. The Vater factory produces over ten thousand sticks per day, which are shipped to over a thousand drum shops and music stores in thirty-five countries. Diameter: 17/32 Length: 16 Review: Great Sticks! Great Feel For Big Hands. - Great sticks. Fits my large hands. Not as thick as a 2B and longer than a 5B or 7B. Best sound for strong recording tracks. Less effort, more sound. They really slam, but not too much like a 2B can. But, slightly heavier tip end, taper and weight than a 2B from the length. Great control and rolls. Best dynamics. My new favorite stick. Review: One of the better rock drum sticks out there - Before I discovered customized drum sticks I struggled to find a pair that was exactly what I wanted and that felt right in every way. I went through a decade of buying hundreds of pairs and these were one of the best ones I ever found. First of all Vater makes their sticks in a way that doesn't waste as much wood as the other big name companies often do, and the way these sticks felt in my hand were winners. They are thick enough so that you don't get used to playing faster than you can really go on those thin sticks, but they aren't so big as to make you feel like you are gonna tire out your arms faster. They are also a tiny tiny bit shorter in length that typical which gives you more control over where you hit and how loud. Also, the round tip of the stick produces a nice rebound and gets a nice beefy sound of the drums when you hit em. They are also pretty nicely symmetrically balanced from top to bottom which felt better when I play with them and it makes flipping sticks and doing tricks MUCH easier because unlike other sticks, these aren't top or bottom heavy. I don't know any drummer that doesn't like these sticks so if you're still searching for a good fit and don't want to go the custom route yet, give these a try :) Oh one more thing...don't get these sticks if you play jazz...the bead is too big to produce a soft defined sound like you need in a swing beat. For any other genre, especially rock, these sticks are great.

Perfection
I have been playing drums for many years. I have only just found my favorite drum sticks in these. I play on a Tama drum set that I converted into a completely electronic set. I used the Cake Pan build method for my drums and have tried just about every mesh head ever made. 3ply mesh is a load of nonsense. The Remo Silent Strokes are single ply and the best heads for this purpose. Back to the sticks. The weight and balance of these sticks is the absolute sweet spot for electronic drums with these heads. Not too heavy and not too light. I get perfect triggering every time. The 16.75” length allows me to sit farther back on my throne and reach every strike zone with precision. I am 5’9” and have a particular playing style so all of this is obviously super subjective. The diameter and hand feel is perfection for me. “Thicker” than a 5A and “thinner” than a 5B. They are dense too (without being overly heavy) so no worries about breaking in your first week of use. To top all of this off these sticks are crazy cheap! It’s perfection plain and simple.

It going to brake
It’s going to break just like any other wooden stick. I like the weight and feel of these sticks. Feels like a good balance between weight and durability. Recently watched Brann Dailor live and these are what he was using, good enough for me. Enjoy!

Vater 1A
Vater 1A Wood Tip VH1AW Superb quality, these are very long sticks (17") but relatively thin (not nearly as thick as a 5B). Have used these for ages and broke the first one at a gig on Saturday - after playing it for over a year! Would recommend this paricular stick if you want a bit more leverage but not the weight/thickness of larger sticks. I would buy Vater sticks anyday - they are easily as good as - if not better than - the competition.

Geile Balance und hält ewig
Obwohl ich mit anderen Sticks auch super zufrieden war, habe ich mir die Vater aufgrund bester Rezensionen zum Testen bestellt. Tja... ich will nichts anderes mehr spielen! Balance, Gewicht, Haltbarkeit.. alles top!

良い
通常はベーターの5Aだが、繊細なリズムでは7Aを使います。やや細めで使いやすいです。ベーターのヒッコリーは滑りにくく私にはあってます。
