IEMAI Carbon Fiber ASA Filament 1.75mm, 1kg Spool, ASA CF 3D Printer Filament, Matte Black

Very nice to print, dried before use. Printed with 0.4nozzle @0.16mm layer height, 80 / 280 deg. And I used adaptive layers, curves came out great. Cons... It's not black, more grey as you can see in the photos.

Actually super easy to print with. Not super hygroscopic like some filaments, comes much much cleaner than PETG prints. Only downside is need to have a store of Tool steel nozzles as its super abrasive!

I'm using the CF ASA filament, it prints very well however the color isn't black, it's more of a very dark blue

Really low quality, not black at all but a grey/blue colour. Was full of moisture and utterly unusable it required about 24 hours in a filament dryer before I got a decent print from it. The spool was wrapped very loosely and haphazardly. It also had a tangle. One of the lowest quality filaments I have ever received. Literally buy anything else.

As it stands, this filament is a one star. It is not well dried and the winding of the filament on the spool is simply unacceptable in today's market. I note from other users that they had great experiences but that this was a few months ago so perhaps the batches went wrong or whatever. Either way, this is currently unprintable - it is in my dryer to see if I can salvage anything and if not, its being returned for a refund. Oh, and as others have said, it's not black - charcoal grey at best Update Dried for 24 hours and it's printing much better. Still grey but print quality is good. Still looks like it was wound by a drunk monkey

When I initially bought this I realised its not a black at all its more of a grey blue but I quite like the colour but when tried it on my Ender 3 S1 thats in an enclosure and tried everything to get it to print even glue didnt work. I have now added another printer the Elegoo Centauri Carbon and also with it I also bought a Bambu Lab compatible (Same Size for the Elegoo) ngineers plate which requires a coating of glue for it to achieve maximum results. Looking at the pictures speak which speak for themselves. Even with a 0.3 I even forgot to slow it down and I am very happy with the results and I have not had a failed print since with this filament.

Needs to be printed really slowly no faster then 60 mm/s, I normally print pla and abs at 180-200. It also warps quite bad so needed to pin parts to the bed with clips.

The first real of this filament was great !! was black in colour and really good to print with and was wound really well on the spool !! but this new real is not black see photos and it is not even wound nicely on the spool !! IEMAI you really need to sort out your quality control !! Will update this review after I make a comparison print !! it is in the dryer as I write this review !!

Well, at least it is what it claims to be, ASA CF. Problem is, it's colored after processing, meaning the core is white and outer skin is only colored giving it a more blue/gray appearance so this is definitely not black, not even close. I've checked in microscope the carbon strands and they are spread quite evenly but are thinner than some other brands, meaning, less clogging but also less effect of the cf. I would say the material is well balanced and only big negative is the fake color that will definitely disappoint you.

Ein Super Material und ergibt eine schöne Oberfläche. Sehr stabil.

Leider habe ich eine bereits geöffnete Rolle erhalten. Aber schwarz sieht anders aus! Packet ging sofort zurück.
