Review: I don't know who loves it more, me or my four-year old - I bought this for a dino-crazed kid who has a lot of other dinosaur books already. I wouldn't recommend this book as a main dionsaur reference, but I highly recommend it as an adjunct to your dinosaur library. It has beautiful illustrations, with tons of information, including a lot that you don't often see in other books. It is the best children's book I have found for explaining in detail how dinosaurs are related to one another/how they are classified. It's huge and kind of non-portable, but that just enhances its appeal in may ways.

I bought this for a dino-crazed kid who has a lot of other dinosaur books already. I wouldn't recommend this book as a main dionsaur reference, but I highly recommend it as an adjunct to your dinosaur library. It has beautiful illustrations, with tons of information, including a lot that you don't often see in other books. It is the best children's book I have found for explaining in detail how dinosaurs are related to one another/how they are classified. It's huge and kind of non-portable, but that just enhances its appeal in may ways.
