The writing prompts are fun and keep the interest of my 7 year old who is apprehensive when it comes to creative writing

Handwriting without tears is worth it. The easy to follow lessons/pages are great for open and go style. The way that is is presented fosters the push creative writing. Engaging questions and pictures to guide kids in the writing process.

Bought for a fourth grader to go over fundamentals of writing. Very well thought out and great for homeschooling and as an additional workbook for public school students

If you have a child that is easily frustrated with writing, this book is for you! Not only does this book help with letter size uniformity, but it also helps the child to really grasp the idea of what it is to write a story, and how to begin! My son has been going through this book like a breeze. This truly has been such a wonderful tool to help my apprehensive young writer!

This is a great book for teaching the different styles of writing to second graders. Many of my colleagues borrowed this book and purchased their own copy.

This looks really good for beginning writers. It’s a pretty thorough book.

This whole series is excellent. I bought this for my son who was in grade 3. We worked through is slowly. It was a bit advanced for him but the clear examples and copy work pages at the beginning of each new concept offered the opportunity to build up understanding. He still doesn’t love writing…but this was the best option to help him push through.
