I prefer working on a larger screen and like to have 2 screens. This is an excellent 2nd monitor for my laptop. It's easy to connect to the laptop, the screen quality great. I bought a case for it for safe, convenient storage (in my case I slide it between my desk and the wall). My only wish is that it could use the laptop's power supply without an additional cord, but at the end of the day it is not a big deal. Highly recommend.

Great bu8ld quality, design and picture. Resolution could be higher, but if the screen is a healthy distance from you (3+ feet) its good. Id pay extra for more pixel density however and it would be perfect. included stand offers a good value.

I think this monitor is the most versatile device I've ever seen. There's a built-in stand in the back that you can push out so that the monitor will stand on its own. This stand can be raised to the top and you can hang the monitor on a cubicle wall with the brackets that are included. I've had to carry the monitor from my office to my home, and found that the stand can be used as a handle. Normally it's very difficult to carry a monitor, but this it feel like I was just carrying a bag. So easy. At home I used their included monitor holder. It's a rock solid holder that is easy to assemble - just one screw - and the monitor simply clips into it. The holder itself clamps onto a desk with a twisting know that has a large handle so it's super easy to install. Unbelievably easy. The height can be adjusted by "pinching" the stand and it will lock into the height you need. So for every way you want to use it or carry it, it just works. I think they must have put a lot of thought into design and whoever designed has an excellent feel for what people need to do. The monitor itself is fairly big. I initially got a 16" monitor to use with my laptop because I was having trouble reading Excel spreadsheets. The 16" monitor did not help a lot in terms of making the letters bigger. This thing feels comparable to the 27" monitors I normally use. If you have trouble seeing small letters on a laptop, this monitor will be a great fit. You can't slip it into a bag like you can with a 16" monitor, but hey, if you need to see bigger that it's got to be bigger. I am really enjoying this monitor and almost wish I had two offices to I can buy another one. Highly recommended.

I was so excited about this monitor but here are the facts as I would have liked to know before purchasing. It's movable, I wouldn't travel with it due to it's weight; the monitor alone weighs 7lbs. It's fine to move from one room to the next and the built in handle is great for that and that's it! It's too large to fit into a carry on suit case and it doesn't have a case to protect the screen making it not travel friendly/safe. I can't speak to the screen or picture quality as I didn't plug it in given the size and weight issues. I was looking for a good size travel monitor so this will be returned.

Bright and portable screen, but for a 24" monitor a maximum resolution of 1920x1080 is low (and very noticeably less than a modern laptop screen). Fine for watching TV via e.g. a Chromecast but I wouldn't want to work on it for long periods.

This monitor is excellent for travel and works perfectly with Samsung DeX. It fits easily into a large suitcase for flights and travel, and doesn't add much weight. The setup is very simple; you just plug in the power and your source. The power adapter is small, which is ideal for packing. The response time and sound quality are good, making it great for streaming shows without lag. Looking forward to future versions of this monitor for more than 1080p

Calling this portable is a joke, it's just a regular monitor without a stand. Very bulky, very heavy, very fragile feel. Portrait mode with the built in stand is not sturdy at all and it means the buttons are not accessible. Picture quality is atrocious, very pixelated at standard resolution, poor light, poor color. Have a smaller ZenScreen that I like so pretty disappointing. Other ASUS products are great, but do not buy this. I put it back in the box within 15 minutes.

It costs over $500, the image is completely blurry, but hey! You get a bunch of hardware (vesa mounting stick and wall mount screws) to sweeten the pot. Bad deal. Plus 20% restocking fee.

Use this with a fold away desk at home. So easy to mount with the pole, or just pop down on any surface when working elsewhere. Love the power delivery which keep the attached laptop charged but sadly cannot turn off power delivery so laptop does have to be charging when in use. Other than that it's perfect.
