This kit is great. My soil tested high on PH. Explains why my tomatoes aren't growing. Now that I know I can fix it. Wash thoroughly in between testing so that your results are accurate. Easy to use and so many tries!

Test was pretty easy to do myself. Because the beakers were so small I had to do the test in two stages. But overall, it helped a great deal with me figuring out what was going on with my soil.

pH test is ok, but I think better accuracy for the aqueous solution is obtained from the API aquarium testing solutions.Nitrogen is disappointing - again, aquarium tests divide this into 3 categories rather. I'm gonna stick with API master freshwater test kit here...Doubt the other two work.

The instrction chart does not have any information about the npk requirement. Means after soil test user is not able to find what to do after matching the soil test color to the chart for partcular npk. Information needs to be added in the chart so that user could k ow what to do , was the npk high or low od optimal. Furthermore the clarity of soil testing solution is crucial, if not clear that would lead false results ,instruction should be added to filter the solution.The soil test kit looks fancy and would only work when extra precaution taken. The recived kit had leakage, contacted seller, not responded.

There are several different types of soil tests and a lot are really expensive and I’m on a limited budget. I found this kit scrolling through Amazon so I wanted to give it a go! The kit gives you over 120 tests and the results came in less than one hour!As an amateur gardener and flower lover, this was the perfect thing! This kit you get reagents for Potassium, Phosphorus Nitrogen and soil PH. There are instructions included on how to test for each one, which were easy to follow. Just to make sure I did it right, I also used the video on the page, super helpful!!The basic steps, which I used were:1) Fill the big vile that comes with the kit about a inch high with dirt2) Get some filtered water and then fill with water.3)Shake it to combine4) Let sit for 30 minutes.5) The kit has a dropper with sucks a bit of the water out. I did that and put it in the small tiny tube which came with the kit.6) Let it sit for a minute after and compared to the provided chart and see the results!(Make sure you clean the test tubes after each use or you might get faulty results)Honestly, I’d you follow the instructions you’ll be able to see the results. I used the results to help my garden and saw massive improvements in my flowerbeds! I was able to pick a beautiful bouquet for my table.This test doesn’t give you a specific number but definitely gave me the test results I needed to see some improvement. My overall summary is this kit was cost effective and helped me get the results I needed! I highly recommend.

I've just started using this and the instructions are easy to follow and I'm, so far, impressed with the results. The number spans are wide on the fertilizers are pretty wide, so it will be additional experimenting to get the soil correct. But with the cost and ease of use is why I rated it this high.
