3-in-1 Aligner Cleaner, Mint Cucumber

Update: Seller contacted me and offered a refund. I declined the refund but agreed to repurchase to give it another shot. Seller then refunded my first purchase anyway. So 5 stars for great customer service. The new bottle has worked exactly as advertised. Takes about 1 pump per tray and this bottle is still foaming like it did the first few uses. I can’t say if my first bottle was defective or if it was user error, but I am glad I gave this product another chance. Makes wearing Invisalign a little less annoying everyday. This has the potential to be a great product. The flavor is great. I used on my aligner trays and made it feel like a spa putting them back into my mouth. Also was great at cleaning my trays. However, the bottle stopped pumping well after the first few uses. It also leaks a bit. My main problem, though, aside from the pump becoming a huge pain to use after the first few uses, is that the product ran out after about 1 1\2 weeks. It would feel like a reasonable value if it lasted at least a month. But $36ish dollars on aligner cleaner per month is pretty ridiculous.

I needed a mouth guard cleaner that was not mint which is hard to find. This product is great and it’s a great flavor. I hate mint and cannot stand smelling or tasting mint.

Update: Increased review one star to three because the company reached out and made every effort to make things right with me. Tastes are subjective and what I might not like, others do. As for the pump, they informed me that they have switched vendors to improve the pump quality. I still won’t be buying this product again, but Fizzy seems like a stand-up company who cares about their products and customers. Five stars for Fizzy, three stars for the 3-1 Aligner Cleaner. —— Original Review: First, I am not sure how well any of these type of aligner cleaners actually clean. Even when using these types of products over night, I still find myself needing to brush my aligner each morning and do at least a deeper cleaning at minimum once a month. Therefore, what I base this review on is the taste, texture, and ease of use. Unfortunately, for these criteria, I can’t give the Fizzy Watermelon and Jasmin Aligner Cleaner any more than 2 stars. Here is why: Taste - It has a bit of the sweet watermelon flavoring initially, but ultimately, it finishes with a soapy jasmine taste. I don’t want to taste soap. Strike one. Texture - It is supposed to be a white foamy consistency, and it was at first, but after a few uses, I found it was just squirting out a clear runny liquid. To be fair, I have also tried the Cucumber Mint Lime “flavor” and it remained foamy so this may be a one-off. However, this is also the first time this has ever happened and I have used at least 30 differently branded alignment cleaners in the past. Anyhow, because it was no longer foamy, I ended up wasting more liquid than I was using as the liquid didn’t stay on the appliance. Strike two. Ease of Use - Unlike its competitors, the packaging for Fizzy is opaque. With no way of knowing how much liquid is left in the bottle, I can’t use it all easily. This becomes critical when you get down to the bottom and want to make sure you are using every last bit. With other brands, you can see both the liquid and the straw, so you can align everything to ensure you are able to use the full amount. There isn’t much in these bottles as it is and it goes pretty quickly, so every drop counts. I consider this the third and final strike. The only positive thing I can say about this product is that it was competitively priced. This is the reason I tried it. Personally, I like the EverSmile brand, but I find it to be expensive and continue to look for an alternative that is on par as far as taste goes. Unfortunately for me, other brands such as Fizzy are less expensive, but no other brand is better otherwise.

In the year I’ve been using my aligners I’ve seen multiple cleaners leave the market. It’s almost impossibly not to buy this product. I feel it’s over priced, a lot. It works and smells nice and I’ll buy again until I find a better priced and effective option.

This is amazing for my mouth guard. I use a tablet type as per dentist recommendation to clean but never got clean. This cleans. Leaves guard fresh from odors. A little goes a long way and great for travel

It works! I had my doubts but it is an excellent product !

I bought this to clean my retainer which was relatively clean to start with. I had to go back into invisalign aligners due to an issue. I tried using this on the aligners which get dirtier and it didn't clean them at all. The residue was still present after the 3 min I waited with the product in the aligners. The taste is also awful. Not the watermelon, but the harsh burn mouthwash has. If you have even a little bit left on it you'll taste it in your mouth. Unfortunately, since I'm outside my return window I can't even return it.

I've tried this cleaner twice now and each time the pump stop creating a foam about half way through the bottle. It is very frustrating to use after the pump stops working, especially because you cannot simply unscrew the top. Otherwise, the taste is fine, it works okay ( my night guard will seem clean enough, but after a few uses a residue builds up, so I use a more abrasive cleaner over once in a while to get rid of the build-up feeling).
